Cedars Deli - Edmonton Trail — Restaurant in Calgary

Another amazing location where food and restaurant (overall) is kept very clean + organized. The first thing to note is the amazing staff here - friendly, helpful and quick to serve (even on a busy lunch period they know how to operate efficiently without compromising quality/quantity). Can't say there is a "go to" dish as I go for EVERY single type of dish from the shawarma , falafel, mixed, beef, vegetarian plates to their variety of stuffed, delicious wraps that get grilled at the end - there is no wrong choice here. Prices start from $7.99-$15 dependent on the item and are very worth the value. They also have fresh house made sides, dips and salads. Unlike some shawarma styles/places , the food here is "clean" - non greasy nor dripping with oil yet still containing all the flavours you would want/expect. The baklava variety/selection is also perfect and tastes delicious. A must go to spot in Calgary - will not be disappointed by the service...

The Mediterranean food game is strong AF here, there's no question and no wonder they've expanded to so many locations. As great as it is, there are a couple of other places with better tasting food, but I have to go five stars here because the staff is friendly as heck. One guy calls me buddy all the time (and everyone else) so I call him buddy back, and then we end up saying the word "buddy" like 17 times during the course of our conversation. And that's just straight up excellent. They have the ordering process down to a science, it's very fast, they're nice people, and they usually throw in a little dessert treat as a "thank-you"...

I have been visiting Cedars Deli on Edmonton trail for the last two years. Not once have I ever had a negative experience. The staff are friendly, welcoming and always serve you with a smile on their face. They remember your name, your order and always provide a couple laughs while you are waiting in line. The food is exceptional and the portions are perfect for the price. Truly one of the best run businesses in Calgary and my absolute favorite place to eat lunch.
