the near immediate food poisoning i got after eating a burger here was the worst internal hell i have ever experienced. We got our food to go and ate in pretty dim lighting while watching a movie at home. after a coupe bites i thought it was kinda gross, but it had been transported for 15 mins so i thought it was just a little soggy. I finally got to a bite near the middle i could tell wasnt right, turned on the light to discover it was completely raw in the middle. My hopes that consuming a small amount of raw ground beef wouldnt hurt were what i went to bed with 20 mins later, violent puking and stomach cramps followed by a steady flow of painful diarrhea were what i woke up to, and would wake up to another 7 times before morning. I spent the following day going from toilet to floor to toilet to shower to bed to toilet praying to a god i dont believe in to take me now but to also let me not die in a puddle of my own excrement. Around 5pm the symptoms started to subside and i tried to sip some water, this was immediately rejected by the devil inside me. at 8 pm i tried again, at which point either my symptoms were subsiding... or i was so dehydrated my body absorbed it before it made it to my stomach. I was weak and immobile for another 16 hrs and around noon on Jan 1st i nibbled a cracker and realized the storm was finally ending... oh I forgot to mention this is a hella late review and this all started Dec 30th and i completely missed my trip to banff for new years.... so ya, happy 2018 Clive Burger, maybe hire a certified chef or trained cook instead of a bunch of teens who could care less if they serve...

I've been a fan of Clive Burger for a long time, but recent experiences have led me to decide not to return. During my last visit, the cleanliness of the seating area was lacking, with most tables left dirty. My order included a chocolate custard shake and a burger with various toppings. Unfortunately, the shake had an unexpected pumpkin spice flavor instead of chocolate. Although not a major issue, it was the first sign of inconsistency.

The real disappointment came with the burger. The bun was burnt, and the cheese resembled overcooked, hardened cheese one might accidentally leave on a hot pan. Further, the burger was missing several key ingredients - onions, pickles, and the signature Clive sauce - leaving it dry and lacking in flavor. Keeping in mind, I had listed these toppings in my order. There was only a small piece of lettuce and a single tomato slice.

This wasn't my first disappointing experience here, but I had previously hoped they were isolated incidents. It's now clear that the overall quality at Clive Burger has significantly declined, and I find myself compelled to look elsewhere for my burger cravings. Sadly, this will be the last time I visit...

Went with my wife and 2 kids. Bill with a good tip was 96 bucks. I had a triple burger and large poutine with extra cheese, wife got regular burger with large fries, one kid got regular burger and my youngest got a kids combo. 3 cans of pop. Even though everyone got cheese, I got extra cheese on my poutine, he didn't ask if I wanted cheese and I didn't think I had to ask after he added it to the 3 others. Burger was decent but nothing to write home about, poutine wasn't bad but far from the top of my list. Their fries were overly hard and then got slimy and soggy fast. The first few bites were good, but went downhill quick, crinkle fries dont belong in poutine. Wife liked their fancy root beer but it was 5 bucks for a can. Overall it was close to 100 bucks, I left hungry and disappointed that for 100 bucks on my birthday I got a lukewarm cheeseless burger and a poutine that was 90% slimy by the time I got into it. Kids did enjoy their burgers and fries with ketchup.

Great atmosphere with great burgers. The menu is short and very easy to order from. The toppings are really good expecially their bacon, which is crispy, and their Clive sause. The fries are well seasoned and also crispy, with lots of fries for their order of a small. The drink selection isn't bad as well. I personally liked the cola and root beer, the orange cream was alright it wasn't sweet enough kind of watered down. The burgers are very good, filled with flavour, juicy and a decent thickness. I love how their burgers are all natural and you can really tell the difference between Macdonald's burgers to Clive's burgers. It was so good I wanted to sew my ass shut. I also love how Clive is a socially responsible business helping the environment by providing compostable packaging, napkins, and I believe the cups too are compostable. If you're down in the area and looking for a place to eat, I would recommend Clive Burger.

Magnificent, The experience is incredibly simple, with a massive ordering board, as it should be at a burger shop. Bravo! I ordered a gluten free double with cheese, lettuce tomato onion and their Clive sauce. The burgers were made to be juicy yet crispy on the edges, just how I like it. They did right by the CARE gluten free bun, as it should be the only valid option in Alberta for buns as they don't crumble and are nice and supple. The fries are from a dedicated gluten free fryer and are CRISPY. I decided to review them based on the fact that they took care of my dietary needs perfectly, and their hours run late, Wich to catch a gluten free bite after 9 on 17th Ave is seemingly impossible, this place hit the spot. The staff were friendly and took care to both ask me if gluten free is a preference or health need.
