K-Thi Vietnamese Cuisine — Restaurant in Calgary

The food is decent but the one lady at the counter is unfortunately so rude every time I am there. I used to be able to overlook it because I like the food but there are many like it in the area and I don’t want to deal with her anymore, so they have lost my business. Ordered my food through skipthedish and was told it was cancelled when I inquired at the counter for it. Contacted Skip when I got back and they assured me it was not and should have been ready for pick up as they informed it was. I think my order was overlooked and it was used an excuse. Wouldn't have cared if she had been honest, and it didn't help that the other times I'd been there she was already so mean to me and so nice her to male customers, it was just...

In my opinion the food is great, I pick up food often and also go in with my partner or by-myself because the service is good, the food is ready fairly fast and it is consistent, I have never had a bad experience, some days I do have to wait, because they are busy, even when it looks empty they have a lot of take out/ delivery orders. The person who is usually behind the counter can be VERY serious, she is focused, she does not make conversation and I think she is shy, but she has NEVER been rude to me, she is not your typical smiling person BUT I don't take that personally, she has always been professional. I would give this restaurant a 0 if I could because of the way they treat black customers . When I first walked in and said hello to the person behind the desk, she stared at me, gave me a filthy look, and said nothing. She asked for my order number, which I provided, and she got up and got my food, everything was ready for me and that all she had to do was hand it over to me. When 2 white customers arrived after me, she served them first and made me wait 15 minutes for my food, which was ready and right in front of me.
