Worst dinner service ever experienced at Dennys. Had to flag down our server when we were ready to order as she never came back when we said give us a min to look over the menu. There were 3 of us in for dinner service . Place was empty only had 2 other tables in besides ourselfs Order 2 55 club sand 1 crispy bacon and 1 normal. The crispy bacon one the bread was soggy,lettuce was wilted.the other one which was normal recieved burned extra crispy bacon the went snap when I checked the bacon. Server said she who get the kitchen to remake it and took my plate back. When she returned with supposedly a new blt it still had the same 3 fries that where on the plate when she took it back to the kitchen , had new bacon but had renimints if the burnt bacon on the sand , which tells me the kitchen did not make a new sand but just picked off the burnt bacon and just replaced it with fresh cook bacon.on both sand the turkey was ice cold . On our third meal our friend our the beef sand only to find out they were sold out on it, he then ordered build your own side x3 Chicken wings and fingers with salad. Server left only to come back he couldn't have the wings on this combo(after been told we could)that the wings were an extra upsell. We declined, he then ordered the 55+fish and chips with salad.fries and garlic toast plus salad was great , the fish was so so could have been better. I seldom give reviews out as I tend to be lenient of FOH&BOH STAFF as I am a chef by trade and understand how the service side of the business can be. But I am expiernce to at 7 pm was a total misread for the industry. Lack of knowledge and traing on the servers part when it comes to presenting and selling the menu, as for BOH I find they were either untrained properly or just didn't care. Like I said I could understand the issue both theFOH&BOH staff could have been but the place was empty and the server even made a point of saying they were slow tuesday night. We were table 3 in the Resturant as there were only 2 other tables. There was no Management touching our table when we complained.the only things we enjoyed on our meal was the salads and French fries. Read moreMy friend and I decided to have brunch at Denny's. We were greeted by the hostess she was very nice brought us to our table and told us our server would be over shortly. There was only about 5 tables in the whole restaurant at the time and what seemed to be about 6 workers walking around. After sitting and waiting for around 10 minutes a server with shoulder length black hair came up and asked if we had been helped, we replied no, she then said one second and proceeded to help another table and then walk away. After another 5 minutes we finally got a server at our table, not the same one who said she would be back. We ordered our drinks and all of our food at the same time. We said it could all come out at once but she insisted she ring it in as an appetizer so it comes first. Around 10 minutes later she brought waters and let us know the smoothies would take a while. She then came back again and asked us what kind of smoothies we ordered. After another 5 minutes we got our drinks. After waiting 30 or so minutes we realized the food was taking a while and saw her say she forgot to ring in our appetizer. Our main brunch dishes came out and the appetizer followed about 10 minutes after. She did not come ask how the food was until it was all gone. While sitting tables walked out and all the staff stood at the front looking confused instead of helping the people already sitting. Everyone was complaining about the service. The staff is completely unprofessional and not one of them smiled the whole time. Not a place I would ever want to eat another meal at. Maybe train your staff better before opening...
Read moreMe and my family love this place but today was something else. It took them 20minutes plus just to ask for our drinks. They kept walking past us like we weren't there. when it wasn't to busy as well, the waitresses we had didn't introduce themselves either it was more like "what would you like" it felt like they didn't really care. Which Everytime I come here I have a pleasant experience so I have no clue why it was like this today. Maybe new hires?. We finally got our food but my brothers and my mom's food was wrong. And mine was to but I didn't want to make a big deal out of it. It was just the wing flavor so I was just like it's completely fine. The waitress did ask to put the sauce on it so that was nice on her but I was fine. My brother asked for his gravy multiple times we didn't end up getting it at all so I really have no clue what was happening today. We had to wait for them to remake the food they got wrong and then the waitress tried to blame my brother that he said the wrong thing but my mom and my brother got the same thing and my mom literally showed her what she wanted on the menu. We ended up getting 25% off on each of the meals. We appreciate that. I know this won't get anywhere because it goes to management and if you don't want to make change then it just won't happen but for all the employees and management team please think about your costumers.
