Dragon Pearl Restaurant — Restaurant in Calgary

We came from Far East. We ordered: chicken fried rice, satay beef Shanghai noodle, chicken chow main, ginger beef, lemon fried shrimp, sweet & sour chicken and spring rolls. Sooooo Good! No disappointment. They do their own delivery within scope. The person who took my call and delivery driver were all pleasant and patient. They clarified their orders - asked additional questions. Customer service on point with my experience (not rushed). Deliver packaging done with care. I am happy and strongly recommend for the area. Our new Chinese Food service provider...only needed to package some more soy sauce BUT generous with the fortune cookies. Also, fast delivery for us but pending orders and days obviously....

We decided to get lunch before the holidays and this was one of the only places open for lunch on a Wednesday that served what we were looking for.

Their (apparently made in house) dumplings are fantastic, but that's the only thing that was good... The salt and pepper squid looked like it had been freezer burnt and microwaved - lacked any flavor, was stale and was quite frankly, disgusting so we tossed it. The ginger beef and sweet and sour chicken were similar, tasted old like they had reheated the dishes up in the microwave. The Cantonese noodles were on par with mall food - we were really disappointed with everything but...

I will start off with complimenting the food, it is always delicious. I have lived in Inglewood for 10 years and dragon Pearl was always a favourite. I stayed away for 4 years due to getting hair in one of my dishes. The restaurant offered $50 off my next order....rather than fix that meal. I ended up ordering food from an alternate restaurant that night to satisfy my hunger.

Fast forward 4 years of dodging this place, I gave it another chance on New Years Eve. Low and behold once again got a 6-8 inch black hair in my dish.
