A dear friend of mine and I popped in, late night the other day. And WOW WOW WOW! Only one server, maybe only one chef behind the scenes. But not a moment of lack. We got a main dish each, a soda and a mango lassi, we also got some little bites to share. If you're looking for a well balanced, thick and refreshing beverage, please get the lassi (I imagine they're all the same deliciousness). Service was so quick that we neglected to take any pictures. Throughout our meal, our waiter was incredibly attentive and checked on us many times (maybe too much given that we were quietly devouring the meal, but not a moment did we feel underserved or forgotten). For the food itself, my mutton slipped RIGHT off the bone, the level of spice was perfect. Enough to make a nose run, but not enough to make me want to run, calmed and comforted by the delicious lassi. If you love spice, and good flavor to balance it out, my dear is recommending the Biryani! (Me too) it was delightful. The music got a little loud given there were few people in the restaurant, but I would've said something if I wasn't blinded by the great food and excellent service. They were so open and provided us as many take out containers as we needed to ensure we could enjoy the food once we got home. The portion sizes were generous, for even a very hungry 2! At the end of our dining experience, we purchased a slice of cake, and given that we had already got such a meal, and had an odd amount of cash change, they generously let us have a 5$ slice! Score! Hope to be back at this place soon. Before I left this review, I skimmed the others... and it has me wondering, do people not ask for what they need anymore? The staff here was so considerate I can't imagine them not trying to accommodate if they were actually asked. We showed up late, stayed late, and not for a moment felt rushed or unvalued. Great place! Great food. Thanks for everything. Wish I could've taken pictures though, cause, visually, lovely everything too!!! Thanks a bunch...

This is a place that is quickly growing into the new culinary hotspot in Inglewood. During their soft opening back in December, I tried the Bread & Butter pudding which was amazing; much better than you'd expect something like that name to be. All the cakes here are baked fresh and I've to find one that was the least bit dry. My favorite has to be the Lemon and Mint cake. You would expect the mint flavor to be overpowering but it's got just the right balance and probably my favorite thing there. I've also tried the ice cream, but only one flavor. Nevertheless, I think when it gets warmer this is where I'll be stopping for some very unique flavors.

I even recently tried one of their mocktails which was very refreshing. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is relaxing but not extremely casual. The murals on the wall are perfect for a place called Mowgli's.

I've yet to try anything off the breakfast or dinner menu but I'm hoping to fix that soon. This is a great place to eat and I hope that other people in the community start to recognize that as well.

UPDATE: So I've gone here for breakfast a few times now and I'm quite impressed. I've tried the Berry Souffle Paradise & the Berry Safari. Both are sweet but again, not overly sweet to where you feel like you're going to get a sugar rush. It was also very filling without making you feel too full. And you can throw in a side of bacon for $2. One thing I should ask next time is while I know they do mimosas, do they serve just regular...

Absolutely blown away by Mowglis! I walk past this spot all the time, and after their recent renovations, I finally decided to step in—and wow, I’ve been missing out. They’re still in their soft launch, but you’d never know it with how polished everything feels.

I was curious about their pastries, and it turns out they bake everything in-house.You can taste the difference; get the red velvet! It’s rare to find a place that takes that much care in what they serve.

But the real magic? Their hospitality. I asked if they did anything for birthdays, thinking maybe a candle or a little extra touch. They went ABOVE and BEYOND. Within minutes, they had a beautifully decorated board with handwritten calligraphy in white chocolate (!!), candles, and even played birthday music. It turned an impromptu celebration into something truly special. The kind of thoughtful service you don’t see often anymore.

And the space—stunning. The renovation is immaculate. Cozy yet elevated, stylish but warm. A place that invites you to stay.

Mowglis is exactly the kind of café/restaurant this city needs—one that not only serves amazing food but builds community, makes moments memorable, and reminds you why supporting small businesses matters. Consider...

We had 3 dessert (cakes) orders and first unimpression was when my friends wanted to pay with cash: one friend had 2 of 5 dollar bills, the cashier said, "we don't have change." Another friend decided to use debit because of that previous problem as the bill will be 20 dollars. What kind of business you are doing? Are we really a cashless society? No! How come you run out of coins?! Next the serving plates are plastic plates, seriously. How cheap for a restaurant looking like that!? Like 4.8 stars?! Another point is the desserts. The triple chocolate cheesecake, that I've got, wasn't a cheesecake. I am a cheesecake person who mostly pick a cheesecake over a cake. I know what the texture will be like. It was something like a mousse with slightly chocolate flavour and it felt some gelatine in it. I also believe that one of my friend mentioned that what they ordered wasn't what they served. Like the name got confused in 2 different cake-cheesecake. If anyone wants a real review, this is the most honest review to read. And I hope this review will reflect to the quality to this place.
