I've been to Nash before for lunch meetings . Food is always great when I come here. I went with my husband for date night we had a reservation so no waiting. The service was amazing. Kevin our server was very good . He was friendly, made sure our water glasses were filled , informative and just all round outstanding . The starter was delicious . We had the scallops with the pork belly. The hint of cilantro on my plate made it for me because it cut the powerful sauce down abit. My husband loved it . He's a sauce fan, me not so much . I like it to accompany my food not over power it .I'm not a lot of my sauce with my food type of person . I like the food to do it's own magic power . Lol The Jamaican Ginger beer I found it sedate. Not as spicy as I would have liked it but it was still good . The mocktail mojito was way better with more flavour and I could say it was lovely. Delicious . My husband's dinner was the special halibut was tasty 67 dollars it was delicious. The corn polenta I think was very tasty .I think that was my favorite part the corn polenta. The fish was delicious don't get me wrong but I loved their corn polenta. Forgive me if I describe these wrong. Or name the food wrong . I got the other special it was the plate for 2. I was sharing it with my husband . The vegetables were delicious. The pan seared carrots and parsley tasted like candy in my mouth . The parsley I found had more flavour and I was a fan. The roasted cauliflower was crunchy and yummy. The sugar peas and the French cut beans were good as well. Brilliant by adding it together. Now my steak The steak was cooked beautifully. I did not have to use a knife to cut it . It cut like butter. They cut it to start in strips with oju sauce and a hint of garlic butter on top. The first bite I took was amazing . Melted in my mouth . I had some of the mashed whipped potatoes and it balanced out nice. Loved it .. the second it was the same . But as I kept on eating . I found myself going towards the veggies. They were delicious. And that surprised me cause I'm a huge meatatarian lol. Here is the disappointing part. The steak, as I delved into my third bite was salty . And then the next. ... Saltier. If felt like they had accidently dropped a bunch of salt onto the steak and tried to brush it off . My husband agreed with me . It was delicious...but salty. However he loves his salt. He found the steak too salty as well. We must have had our glasses of mocktail and gingerbeer . And then my husband had at least 5 or 7 glasses of water to my 4 or 6. I know it was alot even for me when I have at least 1 to 2 glasses of water at the dinner table. Kevin tried to fix it by getting us a relish to put on the steak to cut the salt but it made it worse. We couldn't eat the rest of the steak so we packed it up. 230 dollars for that special. The cut. The way the cooked that steak it was perfection . The saltiness was what killed it for me and surprisingly my hubby admitted it was too much salt for him. And too much salt is how my hubby likes his food. With extra salt. But that steak was too much. I had to have dessert âşď¸ too kill the saltiness out of my mouth. The dessert . Their cheesecake was yummy. . Kevin comped me my dessert which was nice of him . But what would have been over the top with amazing service. Great atmosphere would have been the steak. That was wayyyyy to salty and my hubby and I started joking that if my BP would sky rocket it would be because of the steak . It was steak...

I strongly advise against going to this restaurant. I called 25â30 minutes before arriving to ask if they had space for a reservation. They told me there was availability and that it would be no problem to come in.
However, when I arrived, the tone completely changed. Despite having just told me they had room, the staff now claimed they had no space and said I would need to wait a week to make a reservation. Meanwhile, I watched them continue to seat other customers. It immediately felt like I was being treated differentlyâand unfairly.
I asked them to explain, especially since I had driven 25 minutes based on their confirmation. They kept insisting Iâd need to call back in a week. At that point, it was clear something was off. I told them this didnât make sense and felt like I was being singled out. The response I got felt dismissive and scripted.
I said to them directly, âThis sounds like a bunch of B.S. Youâre allowing some people in and refusing others.â After pushing back and pointing out how contradictory and suspicious the situation was, the staff memberânow visibly nervousâsuddenly changed her response and said, âOkay, actually, we can seat you tomorrow.â keep in mind. Her tone started to change once. I started recording this interaction on my phone. Then all of a sudden instead of telling me to contact them back in a weak. Then she said oh. It looks like I can do tomorrow. Once I started recording, so that tells you all you need to know that me recording. Started to add accountability cause. She knew everything she was saying just did it add up. Everything was inconsistent and convictory.
So first, I was told to wait a week. Then, after calling them out, I could magically get a spot the next day?
It didnât end there. I later called back to request the names of the staff involved so I could report the incident to the Alberta Human Rights Commission. They refused to give me any names, got aggressive on the phone, and eventually canceled my reservation altogether. Every time I called, they were rude, dismissive, and evasive.
This experience made it clear to me: this restaurant practices racial discrimination. They choose who they want to serve and who they donât. If youâre a person of color or someone who values fair and respectful treatment, be cautious about supporting this business.
Also once I realized what was going on and all the conditioner and stumbling on their words and inconsistent things that they were telling me. I took a video so I will be adding that to my report as well. I did record my...
Read moreI truly cannot say enough wonderful things about The Nash. Iâm surprised they only have 4.5 stars⌠it should be a solid 5/5!
We went for my sisterâs bachelorette party with a group of six. Naturally, we spent more time chatting than looking at the menu, but the staff was incredibly patient. They never rushed us or hoveredâjust let us enjoy the celebration at our own pace. When they did come by, it was always at the perfect moment to take our order or refresh our drinks.
Every single staff member we interacted with was kind, attentive, and genuinely understanding. Their hospitality made the evening feel even more special.
And the foodâoh my goodness, the food was phenomenal. Everything was perfectly cooked, bursting with flavor, and thoughtfully paired. Whether itâs their mouthwatering burger with crispy fries, the warm bread with garlic confit, the Caesar salad, or their steak frites, every dish is an absolute hit. The cocktails and drinks are equally impressive.
The atmosphere is gorgeousâbeautiful interior, comfortable seating, and spotlessly clean. We had a lovely window seat overlooking the Inglewood Market, which made the experience even more charming. The music was a little loud, but given how busy the restaurant was, it just added to the lively, energetic vibe. Clearly, itâs a well-loved spot.
One of the standout moments for me was when I accidentally stepped into a serverâs path on my way to the restroom. Even though it was entirely my fault, they apologized to me and insisted I go ahead. That level of courtesy speaks volumes about the service culture here.
We never once felt rushed or like our table was needed for someone else. Instead, we were able to fully savor the evening, the food, and the celebration. For an important occasion like a bachelorette party, thatâs priceless. The Nash absolutely nailed the guest experience from...
