So I was there with my bestie on Sunday August 7th, 2025. We were in the neighborhood, just walking around, looking at arts and books and got hungry. Didn't want to go and sit down for a full meal, so decided to swing by there. My bestie was telling me how good the pizza is there. Pizza is pretty good. 4/5 for me. But the service we got is definitely 5/5! The lady's name is Shawna (I hope I spell it right). She is super friendly, so warm and welcoming, she's funny, outgoing. We chatted, we exchanged some jokes. I overheard her talking to her coworkers about the long tongs, cause she's short and needs a pair, to reach for things. So, to the owner, get Shawna long tongs! 😁 We are definitely coming back and soon, just to chat with her. She made our day even better, with her being and cheerful personality and good work ethics. And the boys in the back, also, very nice, hard working. Everyone was busy cleaning, serving customers. I've watched Shawna being very friendly with every customer.everyone left the place with a smile on their faces! This is what great customer service supposed to be! Come for the food, leave with the smile because of service. So to everyone, who wants a warm welcome, great service and good pizza on the fly, this is the place to go! You won't...
Read moreFood was served nice and hot. My daughter said her Hawaiian slice of pizza and zucchini sticks were good. I would have one critique of my gluten free Hamburger (daily special - that was served on Saturday, March 30) I had ordered "extra sauce" without being aware that the sauce was alfredo sauce, and it really didn't taste good. I would have preferred extra tomato pizza sauce...the alfredo kind of made the hamburger into a mushy stroganoff consistency....and the one slice of tomato per slice on the top really didn't help. For next time, I would recommend that the pizza sauce remain the tomato style, so as to not dilute the zip as one would expect on a pizza. It was very plain and bland tasting. I should have stuck with my regular Hawaiian, but I just wanted to try something different. I guess I was feeling a little disappointed that it didn't taste better. I brought the leftovers home and put some homemade pizza sauce on my last remaining pieces and it made a huge difference on the taste! So just an idea...alfredo on pizza, not the best idea. Great venue though! We love the feeling of going to a trendy pizza joint in a old trendy...
Read moreMy experience with Inglewood Pizza was a mixed bag, and I find myself giving it a three-star rating. It's important to note that the pizzas here seem to be made in bulk, likely to keep costs down. While the affordability is appreciated, it does impact the overall quality and taste.
The pizzas are undoubtedly budget-friendly, making it an accessible option for those looking to save a few bucks. However, it's essential to set realistic expectations when it comes to taste and quality. The ingredients used seemed to reflect the lower price point, and the overall flavor left something to be desired.
On the positive side, the service was efficient, and the staff was friendly. They handled the orders promptly, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was casual and relaxed.
Inglewood Pizza may not be the go-to place if you're seeking gourmet or high-quality pizza, but it serves its purpose as an affordable option. If you're willing to compromise on taste for a budget-friendly meal, this might be a suitable choice. In the end, it's a matter of balancing expectations with the price paid. Three stars for meeting basic needs at an...
