I have been coming to this restaurant regularly with friends and family for a long time. But the last few times I have come here has been unprofessional with poor customer service. We tried calling multiple times yesterday to place an order but they would not answer their phones. So today we tried again multiple times, again with no answer. We then decided to place an order online through DoorDash at 2:00 pm, and I drove from the NW to come for pick up. I arrived at Fahad at 3:30 pm, thinking 1.5 hours would be plenty of time to prepare the food. When I arrived, they said they have not received an order. I showed them the order placed on my phone which we already paid for. The two woman working at the front desk began arguing with me that it didn’t go through and I will have to pay and place a new order. I told them I am not going to pay for another order when we already paid in full through DoorDash. They insisted they cannot help me unless I pay. I asked if I could speak to someone who may be able to help me with the DoorDash order. The woman then checked again on their tablet and realized the order was there. She told me it came through but I will have to wait another 30 minutes. No apology was offered for their mistake. This situation was handled very unprofessionally; I advise not to argue with your customers over a mistake made on the...
Read moreWent at 4pm Sunday. Not very busy but still a few people in the restaurant. We stood at the entrance for 10 minutes. Not a single waitress or the gentleman working behind the bar en acknowledged us. My husband signalled a few times to make them aware we were waiting for a table but even then no one bothered. Finally we asked a waitress if a table was available. And she said there was a 10-15 minutes wait. A couple of ladies who were already seated stood up and walked out and commented the service was very slow and waitresses were not trained to have good customer service skills. They left before their food arrived. We decided to stay and eat at Fahad. My husband then signalled the gentleman who looked like a manager and pointed to the many tables that were empty and asked if we could be seated. He sat us at an empty booth in which area there were at least 3 other tables empty and more that had no one seated but the tables were still covered with dirty dishes from previous guests. The waitress that came to take our order had no mannners. No “please” no “ thank you”. Quite rude in fact. And makes us feel like we were wasting her time when we had a few questions about the menu. We used to love coming to Fahad but the quality of the food is just not the same and the service is below par for sure. Not sure we...
Read moreI'm not sure what to say.. the place is laid out with a lot of wasted space really. I wasn't even sure if I was allowed to dine in but they do . It felt like I was sitting in the main lobby to the restaurant near the fountain. Overall the place seems a little bit old and outdated and it looks like there are a lot of mismatched decor and furniture items. Kind of felt like I was in a Mexican restaurant with the color schemes anyway but in fact this isn't a Pakistani Indian restaurant with a fairly decent menu selection and good prices. I order butter chicken which was served what looked like an Italian white stone lasagna or pasta dish that you you would bake in the oven. I don't know why but I was kind of hoping my dish would have been served in one of those round copper style Indian pots. Anyways The taste was fairly good a little bit on the spicy side for me but I enjoyed my meal. The naaan bread was cooked nicely it was soft and fluffy on top and not overly greasy and had a nice light crisp on the side that they cook it in the tandoor.
There there are two or three different rooms but can accommodate large gatherings. I have posted several pictures from my...
