I never thought that I would be writing a negative review for this place but the inconsistency of meals and the quality of food are the reason for this. We have been inside the restaurant several times a little while back and the atmosphere is good and the staff have always been pleasant, no complaints there. Most recently we have been ordering in and every single meal has been a dissapointment. One time I ordered a meal with the chicken kabobs, every single piece except for one was raw. I was pregnant at the time and thank God I did not bite into it and instead cut into it. That's just gross and unacceptable. Needless to say I didn't even want to touch the rest of the meal. Our most recent order was a dissapointment as well. I ordered the ground beef kabob plate, always been my favorite. The presentation was poor. It seriously looked like someone scraped up the food at the end of the day and threw it all together in one box. My favorite thing from this place is their garlic potatoes but mine came with no garlic sauce, and the garlic sauce is what makes these potatoes the star of the dish! Nothing on the potatoes or on the side. Food was all cold. Pita bread chewy and stale. Everything had to be reheated The one thing that is always consistent is the tabbouleh salad. I have ordered food before from the SW location and it was amazing! Food came hot, presentation was great, the pita bread was warm and soft, we even got extra garlic sauce on the side as well as on our potatoes. That is how it should be. And they have been consistent every time that we ordered. The above are the most recent meals but there were so many others in the past from this location. We gave this location many chances but unfortunately have not seen any change whatsoever. I hope that others have a better experience than we did but we won't be...
Read moreI wish this review showed to owner or anyone who taking care about service. Why people stop by for the take out meal? Not only because they are hungry- it’s always the story behind every customer… mine is - I drove from work and took day off because of getting sick, really bad… as a single mom everything on me and I realized if I forgot to feed myself I might stay starving for the day because felt so weak and exhausted. I was dreaming about poutine - hot fresh French fri with juicy beef, melted cheese and hot gravy on top… quality of food is great - no complaints, I skipped salad, honestly doesn’t look too fresh - my suggestion to keep more salad in the fridge and put it more often on the tray. It helps keep lettuce crispy instead of withered out of fridge. I was expecting my putin like layers- hot fries and than cheese- which make cheese melt pretty quick and than beef with some cheese as well and than gravy - simply obvious. In what reason to put cheese top especially if marinated onion already there… cheese never going to melt on the cold onion… well I just want to say I was so sad and frustrated, I mixed everything in right way by myself… delicious, no complaints… but Dear owner and team - you are serving not only food - it care and pleasure to your customers, they might be busy, tired, sick, starving or etc and need someone who values their expectations, time, trust and joy…. Delicious food it’s always about joy, let’s be honest… I truly appreciate your care about your customers and truly believe in all improvement which will be implementing soon. Looking forward to...
Read moreFrom the moment I walked into Jerusalem Shawarma, I could tell I was in for a treat—the aroma alone was enough to make me hungry all over again. I ordered their shawarma, and honestly, it was perfection: juicy, tender meat, packed with flavor, wrapped with just the right amount of sauces and fresh veggies. Every bite tasted like it was made with care.
But what really took my visit from “great” to “unforgettable” were the two amazing staff members working the counter that day. I wish I caught their names, but I’ve attached a picture because they deserve recognition. Their energy was unmatched—greeting every customer with a smile, moving quickly but never making anyone feel rushed, and handling orders with absolute precision. They worked like a well-oiled machine, keeping the line moving while still making each person feel important.
Everyone here is good, but these two are on another level. They didn’t just serve food—they created an experience. It’s rare to see that kind of teamwork and dedication in a busy restaurant, and it left a lasting impression.
To the owner: you’ve got something special with these two. They’re the kind of employees who turn first-time visitors into lifelong customers. I’ll definitely be coming back—and I’ll be hoping these two are on shift when I...
