Lava Pizza YYC — Restaurant in Calgary

Went to this place just to try it out and wow, the pizza was absolutely delicious. The owner suggested I try the garlic sauce and I said no thank you, and he said trust me, you want to try the sauce. Now, I’m in love with the garlic sauce. I go here once a week now! And everyone who works here is so genuinely KIND. The people who work here have a real passion for what they do, the owner will brighten up your day. He is always so cheerful. 10/10 recommend. Very reasonably priced too! 2 slices and a drink for around 7 bucks!...

I normally don’t do the reviews, but I am going to keep my promise.

The place is mostly walk-in / take out only with a few spaces to sit / stand and eat. The place is bright, very welcome and clean!!

The guys that work here are very welcoming, hard working and honest.

The final question is how’s the pizza?! It’s awesome, the guys will recommend their donair - listen to them and get it. Get their in-house special sauce as well.

Can’t wait to try other items on the menu.

I recently visited this pizza joint for the first time, despite living nearby and never having tried it before. The guy working there welcomed me warmly. I tried the chicken donair pizza, and I must say, it's one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time. The pizza felt incredibly fresh, with savory cheese complemented perfectly by the sweet sauce inside. And that garlic sauce, it was the cherry on top!
