My friend Adam ordered couple drinks and some treats for us tonight. Couple mcflurries and some apple pies. Couple minutes after the order got accepted on skip the dishes we ended up getting a call from the restaurant. Alex ( the McDonald's employee) informed us that they had run out of apple pies, he gave us some suggestions to make our order complete. most places don't even call u anymore they usually don't even make an effort to inform you if something is missing. But alex was very helpful and was very very pleasant to deal with. He took the time to not only inform us of the missing items but he went out and behond to make sure we had a great experience with our order. Now a days you don't get this type of customer service and we are so happy that there are still good people like alex that go out of there way to make the customers feel good. me and my friend adam lost someone close to us tonight... and this small gesture by alex tonight really cheered us up. Read moreThe worst manager experience ever. I ordered drive-through take out from the Riverbend McDonald's today. Drove home, and noticed something wrong with the order. I called, but the manager hung up on me before even listening to my complaint. I called back multiple times until it became clear that no one would answer the phone. I then drove back to the McDonald's to speak with him in person. He came to the counter for less than a minute, and left saying he was busy in the kitchen. He still would not talk to me, and still had not heard me out. The employees working the front told there was no other manager onsite, and told me to just complain with head office. This was not a busy night. The parking lot only had approximately 7 cars, and 1-3 cars in the drive through, and when I walked in there was only one person in front of me. I eventually did speak with an assistant who refunded my money, but not after making a scene, and making me waste my time with this lame manager. Read moreI have been to this McDonald's a couple times and have had no major problems, occasionally the breakfast muffin isn't as good as other McDonald's, definitely not as good as my favorite McDonald's. I leave a 3 star review because I went there 2 days ago and used the drive through (7:45am), the person on the window let me say my order "small coffee and a large coffee please" before giggling and saying "we are not taking any orders right now" no explanation was offered as to why, and I gave up trying to learn when they would be taking orders because the window attendant started talking so fast with a heavy accent I couldn't understand them over the garbled speaker. People were leaving the front door with orders... Some of the people after me must have been told the same thing as they backed out of the drive through, while others proceeded to go through. Usually I shrug this sort of thing off, not a big deal, but this is not the first time I have gone to this McDonald's and experienced this.
