Urgent Complaint: Safety and Service Concerns at McDonald's Marlborough Walmart
I am writing this review to express serious concerns about my recent visit to McDonald's located in Marlboro Walmart. During my visit, I encountered several alarming issues that warrant immediate attention.
Firstly, the lack of cleanliness was appalling. The tables were all dirty, leaving customers with no clean place to sit. Additionally, the floor was in a state of disarray, which is not only unsanitary but also poses a safety hazard.
Secondly, the behavior of the staff, particularly Yohan, the crew trainer, was unacceptable. Yohan was rude and failed to greet customers, despite a lineup of patrons waiting to be served. Instead of attending to customers, he was observed using his phone, which is not only disrespectful but also demonstrates a lack of professionalism.
Furthermore, it was concerning to witness multiple employees using their phones while on duty, as evident in security camera footage. This neglect of responsibilities raises serious questions about the commitment of the staff to providing a safe and hygienic environment for customers.
Given these issues, I am deeply concerned about the overall food safety practices at this McDonald's location. Therefore, I intend to file a complaint with Alberta Health Safety to request a thorough review of the food safety procedures and standards at this establishment.

One person walking around like she owns the place. A very little assistance to the person until and 1% about cooking I must say they were doing a fantastic job and good as they could. People in the lineup for a very unhappy because of the long wait I wonder why. That you would put someone on the tail. A very busy busy time that is struggling with English. Just arrived from the Philippines. I'm just happy to have that great job. However to put that person in that position I think is wrong. Yes, they need to learn how to run the till. And the other thing in the restaurant, I understand that. But I could see she was embarrassed. Lost definitely didn't want to be in that position. And I don't blame her not one little bit. Give her extra pressures well. Unbelievable That's how I saw it. Sorry. I just believe you shouldn't put people in that position. Give them a brake your trying hard. Read moreI had an extremely disappointing experience at McDonald’s on July 25th at around 10:41 AM. The lady who took my order was not only rude but also had a very angry demeanor. Her attitude was unprofessional and completely uncalled for. I observed how she interacted with other customers, including an elderly lady, and it was clear that she lacked basic courtesy and respect. She was impatient and condescending, making the entire experience uncomfortable for everyone involved.
It was quite evident that she didn’t have the right customer service training. She acted as if she owned the place, and it was apparent that she didn’t care about the customers or their needs. There were very few customers in the shop at the time, and yet she displayed such a dismissive and unpleasant attitude. It’s not the first time I’ve seen this behavior at this location, and it’s really discouraging to see how it impacts the reputation of McDonald’s.
I truly believe she should either be retrained in customer service or reassigned to another position. This type of behavior is unacceptable, and I hope the management takes the necessary steps to address the issue. Until then, I am reconsidering whether I would return to...
