My Donair — Restaurant in Calgary

I went in for a Donair after lunch rush and the shop keep was sitting in the eating area. She got up and scowled at me which i thought was wierd seen as she didn't greet me. After I ordered she literally threw my Donair together and didn't even cook it. She then punched my order into the debit machine and said "to go" like she wasn't even giving me an option to sit in (which i wanted to do because im not from the area.) Then she didn't even wait for me to finish payment before she was sitting down talking with her friend at the table she was at beforehand I wasn't offered my receipt or told goodbye or enjoy my meal. The donair was cold and doughy and fell apart quickly. I got home and had dirrahea. This is an awful places like this should be closed down. I really hope someone in the public food saftey division of our society...

I was a regular customer but seem like the food quality is going downhill the donair meat is really dry and looks old but the worst part was the lettuce after she open the container she kinda look at me and smile and still put the rotten lettuce on my donair and then she took some pieces out that was darker and add some fresh lettuce from another container on top of it and then said " the lettuce goes bad really fast " yeah because it's in a container on the counter it should be in the fridge I'm sorry for the bad review and wish you luck with your business but as a...

Update! Went today July 7 2025 and the Lady there is still so awesome! Love their donair

Lady is so nice! Told her it was our first time having donair and she gave us meat and sauce to sample. Food is so good. Second time we came in I pointed out their baklava and she gave us 2 free!
