Nan's Noodle House — Restaurant in Calgary

Visited this vegan delight tonight with a buddy who has never been to a vegan resto. We ordered pancit that came with 3 spring rolls, black garlic ramen, laksa tofu soup and the dumplings. Everything was deelish. The garlic ramen soup wasn’t quite hot enough but flavour was tasty. I had the laksa which had a nice spiciness and was full of noodles and tofu. Would order this item again. The pancit had a tender fake beef substitute and the dumplings were good but our least favorite item. Parking is available but only 6 spots shared with cedars deli next door. I came at 630pm so had no trouble with getting a spot.

When you enter the resto, you’ll order at the counter, grab cutlery, seat yourself, and they’ll deliver the food to your table. It’s quite small and doesn’t hold more than a dozen people and their skip/door dash takeouts seemed to be plentiful. If you’re seeking a solid VEGAN meal, this is perfect. Give it a try! My husband and I are obsessed with this place!! We always get the lemon grass Banh Mi. The flavors are incredible! But I want to give a special shout out to the person who made two lemongrass banh mis on Halloween because they loaded them up with all the toppings making it the best banh mi I've ever had in my life!! You're the real MVP💖

UPDATE: Of course we always order from here as its the best vegan food in the city, but this time we decided to try the Brussel sprouts.... OMG!!! BEST CREATION ON EARTH! Tears wellled up in my eyes because of how delicious it was! I never thought I would utter the words "Brussel sprouts are my favourite vegetable" but they definitely are now! Thank you Nan's for making vegan food so delicious!✨️

I LOVE Hearts Choices so leaving a poor review for Nan breaks my heart, but the service I received when I went on Friday was shocking. I ordered the Black Garlic Ramen, Pho Sate, a Lemongrass Chick’un Sate Banh Mi Sub, and a Thai Ice Coffee. The Black Garlic Ramen and Pho Sate bowls didn’t have the correct toppings in the bowls which was disappointing, but the worst part is that I didn’t get the coffee I ordered.. The people who ordered in line AFTER I did also ordered Boba drinks and for some reason they got served first so they ran out of Boba when they remembered to make my drink. I understand that things will run out since they’re new but I was quite disappointed because mine should have been made first (I will note that they provided a refund). I loved the Banh Mi Sub and I would eat it again, I would also still really like to try the iced coffee, but I’m not sure if I’ll be returning due the poor...
