Absolutely Beautiful storefront, however coffee left a lot to be desired.

The worker taking orders didn’t have any idea about the sole espresso they had on. When I ordered the espresso + my partner ordered an iced latte, they gave her a to-stay glass, but put my espresso in a small paper cup.

I asked if they had a to-stay espresso glass since we ordered it to stay, they were friendly and said yes. But then poured it in the glass and spilled it all over the espresso cup/plate and handed it to me without saying anything. The espresso was over extracted and quite sour.

I went back and ordered an iced latte as it’s a safe bet to remove the sour taste from my mouth. The iced latte literally just tasted just like milk. Very little espresso flavor at all.

Again, absolutely gorgeous storefront and friendly baristas, but definitely need higher quality control and training with the staff. Expected better from a roaster with such a long/rich history in the speciality...

I had the pleasure of going to Phil and Sebastian’s cafe (Bridgeland) on Sunday, that also offered their Bloom brunch menu. Lovely cafe and great atmosphere, the greenery in the decor is a nice touch.

I ordered the Oslo Hash and Cloud Nine drink. I am not a coffee drinker, this drink was a delicious alternative. Very refreshing!

The Oslo Hash was very flavourful, and well balanced. I was able to have a perfect bite for most of the meal. The salmon was well prepared and the egg was perfectly poached.

The Oslo Hash Housemade salmon gravlax, pickled onions, fried capers, baby spinach, dill hollandaise, avocado. Served with homestyle potatoes and a soft poached egg (GF)

Cloud nine matcha, coconut milk and a fruit juice. It is part of their summer drinks.

Hi there! I love Phil and Sebastian but this location needs a lesson in customer service and frankly basic manners. The girl at the till wasn’t very nice when we simply asked her what the options were for drip coffee. And when she was pouring out the coffees she didn’t even fill the cup the whole way because there wasn’t enough to make 3 coffee from the thermos. Instead of 1 offering a wait time to brew a new batch or 2 simply apologizing for not having enough and switching it out for a cup of the other brew she just said nothing. So our coffees weren’t even the full amounts.

The location’s very comfortable to sit in and the atmosphere and food is great but the service has fully ruined the entire experience. Please for the sake of the company retrain every single person in...
