Rang in the new year with a beautiful staycation at Alt Hotel Calgary East Village, and it was such a good choice. The whole space feels modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed without trying too hard. From the second we checked in, it felt like the perfect little reset to close out the year. The location of Atl Hotel Calgary East Village is a huge win. Waking up right by the Bow River and being steps away from East Village staples like the Central Library and Studio Bell made the stay feel special even without leaving the neighbourhood. It was quiet enough to actually relax but still close to downtown energy if you wanted it. The room itself was cozy, bright, and super comfortable. Loved the minimalist design, comfy bed, and how peaceful it felt overnight, especially for New Year’s Eve. The lobby vibe at Atl Hotel Calgary East Villahe has a laid back, welcoming feel that made the hotel feel more like a boutique stay than a standard downtown hotel. Overall, such a solid option for a Calgary staycation, especially if you want something stylish, walkable, and low stress. 👍 Pros • Modern, clean, and stylish rooms that feel fresh and well maintained
• Great location in East Village with easy river access and walkability
• Quiet rooms despite being downtown
• Comfortable beds and strong Wi-Fi
• Fun lobby atmosphere with games, pool and seating areas 👎 Cons • There’s no hotel specific parking. Parking is in a public underground lot attached to the hotel (open to anyone) AND it costs $35
• No in-room fridge
