The RiverWalk is a four km picturesque pathway in down town, Calgary, along the banks of Calgary's two major rivers, Bow and Elbow. The extra broad and prepossessing walkway that has a number of observation decks, benches to relax, emergency 📞 services, hygienic washrooms, and a huge pond is pretty close to several other tourist attractions and popular places. Calgary Fort, Chinatown, Saint Patrick's Island, Prince’s Island, Zoo, Sien Lok Park, Stampede Park, Riverwalk Plaza, the Eau Clair Market - that has a children playground besides a variety of stores - are in proximity of this walkway. Also, it is accessible by Calgary Transit stations. The nearest station is Bridgeland Memorial which is just a ten - minute walk. I loved walking along both the rivers, and I cannot forget the exhilarating experience I had.
