Not worth any star. but there is no option of zero star
I was at one of your location in Calgary (Rundle Location). I had a simple order for a couple to have as a dinner on a day that they have been out for most of the day. 1 medium pizza (Vegetarian) + 2 dipping sauce + 2 POP CAN. I was your Walk-In guest (Unfortunately that is seen as crime and made me helpless when i tried to put my concern through you online customer service team) This a prime reason of me carrying this issue for so much ahead than I normally would ever do. Firstly, I happily called the customer line thinking that they would recognize and try to fix the problem. I was even holding the pizza hoping that i will be able to give it back if the customer service team will fix that by sending the next possible driver to drop the fresh order. As soon as I called the order line, they transfer me to CUSTOMER SERVICE department. A lady answers the phone. She heard my problem and said she can no way help me out on this and said that she could not provide me the phone number for the store. Then i asked her to connect me to the Manager and if i can talk to him. She started getting rude and said that the manager will answer me the same (why would you employee not own their service and act like a manager and assume what a manager has to say.) One of my Question: Are the people who take their orders in WALK-IN not considered as you loyal guests same as customers who order online? Are they not of equal importance to be able to bring in their concerns and a possible way to fix their problems in equality of the one places online or via call center ordering line? What don't the people at the store own their service and product that PIZZA &# is so proud of serving to customers? What is the way that walk in people can place their complaints through? The customer service line is of no use if they cannot help equally to all customers. Once i reached the store, I asked to talk to the manager. The driver called the manager shouting her name "Prerna" She walked up in front and her eyes could easily recognize me that I was there. I presented her the whole situation once again. She opens the box and say this is not "UNCOOKED". Her meaning to say that the VEGGIES are brown means that the pizza is well done or cooked was absolutely senseless. I tried to explain her that the dough under is not completely cooked and also showed her. She was not at all ready to accept that there was a problem in there. the driver who called the manager then came in closed and saw the pizza. Since the manager was not able to understand on how to rectify the problem he said that what you want us to do. All i said was I unfortunately said that I am no longer willing to have my pizza, all want is my REFUND and i will leave. She said that its company policy that they will not refund. I asked the lady once again if she can give me the TILL receipt and also asked for her name. I asked her if her name was PRERNA? She dis-agreed and did not want to give her name away so that it will not be mentioned on the review or e-mail that i said in store of writing to the franchise.
I believe that smaller and everyday problem are not obvious to occur at all restaurants but they always will happen and that we call as human error. But despite that all franchise should own their product and service above anything else. This is complete opposite of what PAUL expects the company to grow. Unfortunately that will be my last visit especially to that locations and for sure it be my last choice to go back to PIZZA 73 for pizza in near future or future. I ended up tipping you for a very bad unsatisfied service with with unbelievably bad product and after all a team which was never ready to hold themselves responsible for errors. they acted as if they were perfect like a...
Read moreHave gone to this Pizza 73 for years. I don’t order out much so I haven’t been by in a while (like over a year at least). Went in and was reminded why I love this place so much. I’m not sure why these guys have negative reviews like what I’ve seen. All I can say is that kindness goes a long way. I asked for some special accommodations on my order and they went above and beyond. They always have. I even have a friend who is way out in Chestermere and she asks people to grab her food from this specific location. Anyway, to sum up my several years of ordering from here…. Can the service be a little slow when you first walk in, sometimes yes. There are usually only a couple people working so if one is on a break or something, the other is taking and making all the orders. As someone who has worked in the food service industry, I give a tiny bit of grace and and kind when they come to the front. I’ve never had an issue here (and I can be quite annoying with my orders and mods). They have always been amazing. That said, I have witnessed countless people come in, be demanding, tap their feet, and disrespect the people who are just trying to do their job. Maybe we get what we give, I’m not sure, but I’ve watched as the employees take straight up abuse from customers and continue to serve them like any other. No complaints from this location, I’d drive quite a distance to order here. I’d take pictures of my food from tonight, but it was devoured too quickly. No complaints and if anything, my wings had extra sauce.

Read moreI work at sunridge mall, and our manager asked us to order pizza for our pizza day. I called through my cell phone at 12:15pm today and gave the guy our work phone number and extension, because they asked what number to call. They even repeated the number two times and made sure they had it right. They said it was going to be 40 minutes, and by 1:01pm, we decided to check up on our order, because the location is literally down the street from the mall (a 5 to 10 minute walk at most).
The first issue is they tried to call my cell phone, which I'm not allowed on me, during my shift. Secondly, I called the same location and the guy immediately sent me to customer service, and I had to explain to the girl from customer service that it's almost been an hour and that the delivery guy wasn't there and they were calling a number that I didn't give them. She also told me that the delivery guy supposedly could not deliver into the mall, which is odd because we always order from pizza 73 and they've never said that before. My coworker and I had to meet the guy up at the doors by the sportcheck entrance, cause he wasn't given proper instructions, and on the receipt for our order, the person I placed the order with, did not put our extension on there.
The pizza was fine, but the lack of care on the guy who put our order through, caused a lot of trouble for us and their own delivery guy. Needless to say, we won't be ordering from this...
