Update on 12/28/2023 I asked about decaf items because I’m pregnant. They said they have rooibos which is good. I asked if there is any other decaf tea then they recommended oolong tea and they said other herbal tea they have is not decaf. In my experience oolong has caffeine and herbal teas do not, so I could not be certain that if they are telling me correct information. These information should be readily available, they should put more effort in educating their staff. —— I visited this Waves on Monday morning. It was quiet and very nice and clean cafe.

They actually have wide range of food items, which was great for those who wants to grab quick bites!

I tried seasonal gingerbread latte, it tasted good, the milk pour was not pretty though. They did not ask to stay or to go, when I looked at other people in the cafe, everyone had paper cup even though they are staying. Formerly gave 4⭐️ , because the presumed owner/manager (lean Asian man) would frequently be present and really talkative with customers. I remember 2 younger Asian baristas maybe 1-2 years ago being really enthusiastic and efficient. Now I have to agree with other recent customers that the service is lacklustre, with different baristas that either forgot to call out my order, not as efficient especially when it’s very busy, and served my caramel macchiato in a paper cup even though I had requested specifically “to stay, in a mug”. And the caramel Machiato doesn’t look like the way it used to (with the cross hatch drizzle on top) but looked and seemed more like a cappuccino cuz it was super foamy on top. Worst experience Ever. Went there and ordered just one cup of tea. After waiting for 10 minutes, i asked the guy at the front desk. He said they will bring it to the table when it’s ready. I kept waiting. After waiting for another 15 minutes i went back to him again, he again just ignored me and kept dealing other customers. Then i asked the another lady working there, she said they just forgot the order. After waiting for almost 30 minutes just for a cup of tea , i asked them to return my money back. I don’t need that tea anymore but rather than returning my money back, she made the worst chai tea latte i ever had. By the way they charged me $6.25 for that. Starbucks is way much better than this.
