Rip's Pub & Eatery — Restaurant in Calgary

They don't take ownership and they don't honour what is advertised! False advertisement!!

We went for wing's night on Sunday. The reason we picked this pub is because their website says wings are $0.15 each. But when we got the bill it turned out it was $0.40/wings. We asked about the price difference and the answer we got was the website isn't theirs but it has their address and phone number on it. And then she changed her answer to they didn't have access to the website anymore and they couldn't change the content or take the website down. They wouldn't honour the advertized price. We feel so cheated! For all we know they could be leaving the website there on purpose and it could very well be a classic bait and switch!!...

Tonight my family and I were there for a couple of drinks and to our dismay, we got stuck with this blond waitress that was so full of herself and so entitled that the tip we gave her wasn't enough. In fact she put up a huge fuss about it and was very rude, loud to the point that it was disturbing everyone else in there. Just so everyone here knows, gratuities are not mandatory, the amount to tip the one gives should be up to the customer not the waitress. Like I said we tipped her but apparently it wasn't enough and she put up a big stink about it, we will never ever go back to that restaurant again it is a shame that we have people like her working in this industry because it's going to ruin it for...

Given how costs are as of late. Food is fairly priced for what it is tho I'm not and never will be a spolumbo fan so kinda sucks that the menue is heavily focused around spolumbo / sandwiches tho the fried / wings and postings are honestly well worth the price and taste much better than other pubs in South calgsry

Beer sucks there are no steins / schooners as they would be much more worth it but the beers are honestly not bad and the price isn't bad either . Atmosphere is great not the same music that gets old quick when you hear it over and over everytime you go there plus a mixup from older style rock and such to new age so it's honestly nice for...
