Royal Pizza Signal Hill — Restaurant in Calgary

My experience was: ordered a medium pizza...got a small ordered a Caesar salad...got a warm, wilted garden salad hoped for utensils...was too much to hope for, so just ate with my hands thought napkins might be cool, but obviously that wasn't in the cards got a call from the driver for me to come down to lobby to get the order...was too much for him to deliver?

I've ordered from Royal in Edmonton a few time before, and it was excellent. Even outside of what I've mentioned, the slightly warm pizza tasted really good. I just think for $50, they need to do better than this.

EDIT- *I would like to add - the manager took the time to call me the next day, to ask about my experience and review. I am going to leave my review as is, because that was my honest experience that day. That being said, the manager was apologetic, and I believe will make every effort to make any necessary changes or improvements, as she genuinely seemed to care about the satisfaction of their customers. Worst pizza ever, so surprised at the downfall of quality in the last couple years. I ordered for the first time in 2023 and pizza was excellent!

My brother ordered tonight on my recommendation, and ordered 2 pizzas for pickup. $60 later we received greasy, and tasteless pizza which was very sparse on toppings. Best part was the crust. 🤢

What we received looked nothing like the review from someone else below this one.

Not even cut the same way,….both ours were cut so the pieces were square. (Not an issue, just pointing out how they have changed,….in the last few months according to the last glowing review.)

Totally disappointed. Especially after recommending them. The food we received was sub par and tasteless. Not sure if there’s been a management/ownership change?

For the quality of pizza we received, we could’ve gotten 2 little Caesars pizzas, and kept $30 in our pockets. (Would’ve been better pizza too unfortunately.)....

Where are the toppings! This was the second time I tried this Signal Hill location, and it will definitely be the last. This time it was a loaded Royal Special for $22.50 and a starter Greek salad for a whopping $10.95. So in a blink of an eye I am paying over $33.00 for this order. The pizza was just average at best. It lacked toppings and cheese. The salad was a major joke! Total rip off. It wasn’t even tossed, and they put a container of dressing in the box to take even more room. One would expect a tossed salad with the dressing with a healthy serving of feta cheese. Very ver small salad portion. Edmonton locations are way way better.
