Okay, since Covid19 started I just call to pick-up a maccha latte because I try to isolate and have less contact. I usually don't have any problems from the PREVIOUS ladies who answered the phone and they were so friendly. But today, I phoned and I asked to pickup the same order and the lady on the other line said "sorry, we don't take orders with a not so nice friendly tone." and so, I said well, I have been going there for the last 3 years to get the same order once in while and then she said, "sure, will make it for you and slammed the phone, w/o even asking my name. So I showed up, I was polite and the lady said, "Just to let you know, this is the last time you can call and pickup cause it's unfair for people in line" I looked behind me and there were no people in line. did not say anything as I was surprise with the aggressiveness. I just said okay. If establishment owners wants their business to survive during this pandemic they should accommodate customers who likes to call earlier, because we try to have less contact with other people. I am not sure if the lady just decided that out FOR HERSELF when there was no one in line. I'm sorry, but I am not gonna waste my time going back there to employees who has poor customer service. I'll just drive all the way to Walden as their customer service is on point. Update: March 15, 2021
I spoke to the manager of this store location and she was all praised to the attendant, the call was all about just defending the lady that was not nice to me, but it was supposed be getting information of what happened. According to the manager, they had a huge line up that morning.. It's contradicting to what the attendant told me to just walkin because it was ZERO line up. So, I am gonna leave it this way: Who's telling the truth? The manager or the attendant? I'm moving away from this...
Read moreI went to this location today to get a pumpkin spice latte and I noticed there were 3 people waiting for drinks and two people in front of me getting their order. As I was waiting I realized that the one girl must have been fairly new at the job as she was asking for help at the till. As the other girl was finished the one drink and customer were still waiting for their order that one worker could care less about making the other people drinks waiting in line and started to fill up the teas. The one customer waiting had peeked around the counter seeing where her drink was and the worker eventual grab it and proceeded to make the drink but you could tell she was in no rush to do so. When the new higher was done with the tills she started helping making the drinks as the other worker than quit making the drinks and made her make all them as she picked her zits waiting at the till. I personally found the disgusting and embarrassing for your Starbucks. I felt bad for the new higher. I feel there is a time and place to train and when you have a line up your customers are you number one priority in my opinion. Not sure if you have a high turnover, but this could be the reason why if you do. This is coming from a...
Read moreI am a 84 yr female senior visiting from the okanagan, I did my shop in saveOn and would meet my daughter at Starbucks. With that in mind, my cane in hand and cart ready to enjoy a coffee from Starbucks. I made my choice and requested that the girl assist me in adding cream and sugar. I have arthritic hands and this would pose a challenge in doing this. She said she canât and pointed over to the area of where condiment was, I said I would like help, again the finger pointed to the area across the way. I asked a male customer in line if he would help me, very gracious he did, brought it to me where I was sitting waiting and exchanged new year greeting to me. The pleasantness of the customer was comforting but the attitude of your employee needs attention and awareness that challenges are with customers, beit seniors or others. I do not frequent coffee takeouts and this left me with a bad experience. A senior that doesnât complain but very disappointed in Starbucks customer help. ...
