Ate a lot for the price (all you can eat is about 25$ including tax and tip, per person) but the food taste was very average in my opinion. The presentation was great and the food looks good, but then you taste it and you get that feeling you’re gonna have to force yourself to finish it. The teriyaki chicken tasted dry and blend; tasted like very cheap chicken or wrong chicken part for this kind of dish. The wonton soup was very blend as well, lacking flavour, and the wonton itself was very dry; quite difficult to explain but basically the opposite of fresh. Most of the food I tried felt like it had been cooked multiple days before or something. The fried rice tasted like it had been cooked for the 5th time. The rice was very mushy and “soaked” in soy sauce flavour; yet still lacking any kind of flavour. Basically just tasting salty from soy sauce, and dry because of how many times it’s been re-heated. The jello was good and my friend liked the coconut pudding. The two mango sushi were not good, the rest was fine. The crab sushi was my favourite in the bunch. The service was fast on the other hand, and easy to order. Overall not a bad place per say but I wouldn’t say I would come back again

Writing this review from my booth at the restaurant. At first glance, the restaurant seemed pretty decent. Everything was fine up until we started ordering sushi, sashimi or anything that wasn't deep fried. For starters, the sashimi was so cold it was basically still frozen. Not necessarily a bad thing but it can be off-putting. The sushi rolls were inedible. The Nori tasted stale. The water jug at the table was filthy and covered in calcified minerals and stuff floating around. Dirty signs at the table, dirty bathrooms, dirty tables, dirty door handles. We should have left before we ordered. With a policy that requires you to eat everything you order, even the completely off-putting food they serve, we had no other choice but to throw food out in the bathroom garbage. We hate to be wasteful but it was completely inedible and didn't want to overpay on-top of the regular price. On the plus side, the deep fried items were decent. The tempura was crispy and fresh, but one doesn't appreciate spending $35 per person for only deep fried appetizers. We will not be back.

UPDATE: I went for the 3rd time, wasn't as I hoped for, the server was unbelievably rude, below zero hospitality, Food came randomly, only sushi first, extra things came that we did not order, it took them ages to bring out each plate, I was so disappointed, not gonna go there again, hope they get better, I do not blame the server, I blame the manager, for that it was only her running the place outside, and one chef, and it was busy lunch time. They could do waaaaaaaay better, that was just so bad and sad. .... Good and quick service, all you can est there fits me the best, it always does eith Asian Never miss trying the below: the pizza! Forgot to take pic of it, it made of rice, very crunchy, small, sooo good. Things we liked the most are: Baked oyster, panko scallop, shrimp tampura, gyoza, off course ginger beef, seared tuna sushi. Won’t try the noodles cuz it’s good portion and I am just fine without eating it.

Outstanding Sushi Experience - Highly Recommended!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Stars

This restaurant has become my go-to spot for exceptional Japanese cuisine, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by genuinely warm and attentive staff who make every visit feel welcoming and special.

Incredible Menu Variety The selection here is absolutely impressive. Whether you're craving traditional sushi rolls, premium sashimi that melts in your mouth, perfectly grilled teriyaki dishes, or beautifully baked specialties, they have it all. The quality is consistently outstanding across every category, and you can tell they take pride in their craft.

Unbeatable Value What truly sets this place apart is how they manage to offer such high-quality food at remarkably reasonable prices. In today's market, finding premium sushi and Japanese cuisine that doesn't break the bank is rare, but this restaurant delivers exceptional value every single time.

Perfect for Any Occasion This is the ideal spot whether you need a quick, satisfying lunch or want to sit down and savor a leisurely meal. The efficiency of service means you're never waiting long, but they never rush you either. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between casual and refined.

Consistently Excellent Experience The restaurant maintains impeccable cleanliness standards, and the bustling atmosphere speaks to its popularity among locals – always a good sign! The staff's friendliness and professionalism create such a positive dining environment that keeps me coming back.

Final Thoughts After multiple visits, I can confidently say this restaurant delivers excellence consistently. The combination of superior food quality, outstanding service, reasonable pricing, and welcoming atmosphere makes this a true gem. Whether you're a sushi enthusiast or new to Japanese cuisine, this place will exceed your expectations.

Highly recommended for anyone seeking an exceptional...

I sit here typing this review with a stomach ache from the terrible food I consumed at this restaurant. When e first arrived, the person bringing us to our table didn’t even look up to greet us. She simply grabbed some menus said follow me and threw down the menus and walked away. She didn’t even offer a high chair or a booster seat for our daughter. After a long time someone came over and asked if we wanted drinks. It took forever for our water to brought to the table. Once we ordered it took forever for the food to come out. The one sushi was mostly cream cheese in the middle. In one roll you would probably eat an entire block of cream cheese. The edamame was super over cooked and not salted at all. The avocado rolls were okay. The miso soup was probably the best thing we ate. The worst was the vegetable tempura. When I took the first bite it was super cold. It felt like the veggies had been frozen and weren’t cooked through. The outside was barely warm. The oil definitely needs to be changed because it tasted like really old oil. They happily brought us a new plate of tempura that was actually warm but once you get that old oil taste in your mouth, nothing else tastes good.

The servers were friendly with my Daughter and continued to offer her jello. In the future it would be better if they would ask parents before offering a small child a treat. It was something she had never had before and we would have preferred that she didn’t have it but when it is placed in front of her, it’s kind of hard to take it back.

The bathrooms were decorated in dark colours for a reason.... to hide the filth. It looks like the toilets and walls and dividers are rarely ever cleaned. Overall the whole restaurant didn’t look clean at all.

I am avid google reviewer and this is the first 1 star I have ever given to...

Absolutely horrible experience. We had a booking and were seated 30 minutes over our time. Once we were seated we were given water and the tablet to order on. We placed our order and waited. As we waited we looked further into the menu and ordered more food. The food we ordered the second time started showing up but literally only the 1pc items. No rolls and none of the stuff we ordered the first time. We waited some more and nothing was coming. So we spoke to the server who said our order got "lost" and to reorder. So we did and almost immediately after we did we started receiving double our 1pc orders and still no rolls. We asked again what was going on and the male server said he would go look and came back with one roll said nothing dropped it on the table and left. So we waited some more and when I finally stood up and looked towards the kitchen the lady that was running everything came over and asked what's wrong to which I explained what's happening and she says "oh sorry the kitchen is now closed". Seriously. We sat there for over 2 hours to eat a few single piece items each. She then says they were too busy and many people were waiting and if things didn't show up its because they were sold out. So the customers are supposed to guess at what's sold out and what's not? They never topped up the water they never told us what we got or what we didn't get. They failed at absolutely everything and then expected us to pay full price. Everytime I would try to talk the older lady would just start talking over me. Absolutely ridiculous. There are lots of sushi places with far better sushi and service. Don't waste your time. We definitely won't be coming...
