We came here for some post bowling eats with some family and friends and it didn't disappoint. This little unassuming restaurant is located across from the Holiday Inn on MacLeod Trail. You can turn on off of Macleod or, contrary to what Google Navigation will tell you, access it off of 42nd by left turn.
The establishment itself is your mom and pop type of place, nothing fancy, but plenty of booth and table seating meant for family or groups dining. The menu is a good size, and features some unique items I've not seen at typical Pho places, including hot clay pot style dishes.
The Pho is great here however. All the bowls the family ordered were made well, and portions are quite generous, with plenty of proteins and noodles to spare. The broth was also excellent. We also tried the clay pot ribs and they were melty delicious.
Service was amazing, the owners were super nice and accommodating, you can tell they really care about what they serve. Facilities were clean and well stocked and there was plenty of parking available.
Don't pass this place up if you have a hankering for some...
Read moreWe are a local company that frequently orders staff lunches from this restaurant and often recommend it to our lots of our clients. Our business has consistently supported this establishment.
However, when I called today to place an order, I was treated extremely poorly by the person who answered the phone. As I was reading out the order, he abruptly yelled at me, saying he was too busy and to call back later. This is unacceptable behaviour for any business in the service industry. Customers like us help keep your doors open.
While the food here is average, we continued ordering regularly due to convenience. After today’s experience, however, we will not be ordering from here again, nor will we be recommending this restaurant to our clients. We will take our business elsewhere—to a place that values and respects its customers. The way you treat people matters, and today’s actions have cost your restaurant loyal customers and...
Read moreThe exterior of this place looks like a hole in the wall but coming inside, its clean, well organized, and the staff is very friendly. Ive been to many and i mean MANY vietnamese restaurants and this one is definitely in my top 3; honestly tied for 1st place. The appetizers seem freshly prepared, each individual gets a dipping sauce and are not forced to double dip a dingy small saucer. The main courses were very well made, deep in flavour and you can tell were prepared fresh and with care. The only downside for me personally is that Im a big eater and usually need a large option, even then ordering extra noodles with my soup, and this restaurant only has a singlw portion option. Its generous but not quite filling enough for my big appetite, which is no fault of the restaurants 😂🤣 Will definitely return or order from skip the dishes if they deliver to my area. Its worth the trip and walking into this inconspicuously amazing little...
