The park is very large, provides a perfect opportunity to witness the beautiful foliage, if you go in the autumn. In addition to the walking paths and the bike route circling the park by the sea, the scenery is self-evident. If you have the time, I highly recommend coming here for a half-day stroll and taking in the beauty of Vancouver. This time, I rented a bike to go around the park, and the ocean view and the beautiful maple leaves created a picturesque scene. After cycling around, I not only didn't feel tired, but my body and mind were very relaxed. One thing to note is that when cycling, whether stopping or starting, please be mindful of whether there are people behind you!

Great park in the heart of Calgary very scenic and calm. On weekend there can be a lot of people and hard to find parking but otherwise there is lots of free parking. There is a river which can be used like lazy river and a great spot for kids to get in water as its shallow and the playground is in front of it which has all that kids will need. There is a baseball court, tennis court, swimming pool and garden. There are even two table tennis tables free to use. There is a nice green trail for walking. Over all great place to spend a nice evening. Highly recommended. Check out videos and follow for more.

One of the nicest parks in Calgary by far. It's usually quieter than the other chaotic parks, it's not dead either, just the right amount of liveliness. The pathways by the river are so beautiful and they go for a long distance, very enjoyable both walking or biking. The water level is often not so high allowing the kids to play around the river and just dip their toes for some coolness on warm summer days. Having the pool is also another good option when it's open, since it's only open for a couple months a year. Totally recommended.

I have been there several times and it's been Pleasant. But this time was very disappointing, the first part of the trail wasn't shoveled very slippery with ice. And I went over on my ankle well trying to navigate the bumpy ice. Then I realize we're outside but we're supposed to be 6 feet away from each other or having to wear a mask. No one was six feet away no one was wearing a mask, several people were jogging Breathing heavily and passing us within one or two feet. There were signs at the beginning of the Park that said 2 social distance but no one was doing it and it's very...
