So glad to have a Royal Pizza nearby! I’ve heard a lot of positive things about the Edmonton locations in FB foodie groups, so I was excited to be able to finally try it out. I ordered a classic pepperoni pizza, the Royal garlic cheese loaf and some sweet chili Thai boneless wings. Everything was amazing! Super fresh, hot and great quality. The pizza crust is thick and crispy. I hate thin crust, so this was perfect! Loads of cheese, generous with the pepperoni and the sauce isn’t too sweet. If you’ve ever had Nikos Pizza, this is similar but I prefer Royal’s sauce and crust for sure. Boneless wings were nice and saucy and crispy - just how we like them! The garlic bread? OMG, so cheesy and perfect amount of garlic flavour. I am in heaven. I think I’ve found my new favourite pizza place and it’s just around the corner! The staff were super friendly as well. Apparently this location has only been open for less than two weeks, but they had my order ready as soon I as got there and they seemed to be decently busy too! I like that I could place an order online through their website, and you can order ahead too which will likely be very convenient for future orders. Thanks so much Royal Pizza Parkhill. You’ve got a new regular customer for sure!

I’ve ordered from royal pizza on McLeod Trail a few times now. They’ve always been able to deliver to my house and I’ve been picking up from them a few times. I love the quality of the pizza and the services I’ve gotten before. Well today on July 14th, I called to place an order for delivery. The store clerk was extremely rude. An hour had passed after I called and decided to call the store back to get an ETA. I was met with “don’t order from us again, your delivery address is extremely far” keep in mind, I’ve ordered multiple times with no issues and the delivery address is 12 min away from the pizza place. If it was that far they could’ve told me that prior to me ordering the pizza when they were taking my order and I would’ve gladly just done the drive to pick it up. I found that extremely rude. Well fast forward, my delivery driver arrives and I give him cash asking for some change back, why was I met with a cup full of loonies, toonies, dimes, nickels, you name it. This is the first time I’ve ever had an issue where I was left so appalled and beyond disgusted with how I was treated from the minute I ordered to the minute I received my order… especially from a pizza place that I’ve ordered many times before. Please do better

Somehow, the most mediocre fast food I've ever had. I got three items (4 if you count a can of ginger ale)—garlic bread, salt and pepper boneless wings, and golden fries. The garlic bread was barely garlicky, more like toast that had hung out with garlic butter for a few minutes. The chicken was fine. Tasted like literally any fast food chicken tender. I can already tell my stomach won't be too happy with me later. They gave a lot of fries. And, yes, normally that would be good. They're extremely standard thin cut fries, okay. I can't exactly say they were undersalted, as that would imply there was any salt at all. Rather, it was more like any salt the fries could have had was subtracted from the fries entirely. The fries are far from "golden," they get a participation trophy at best. The one person working there was friendly, at least. Said they'd be 5 minutes with my order, but it was more like 15—probably because they were the only worker there and had to manage multiple other orders. I would only eat here again if I had no better options. If I had to summarize the experience in one word, it would be "mid"—but a single word does not do this mediocrity the justice it deserves.
