Very disappointing, overall the night was a disaster due to very poor service & zero communication from the staff. I booked a reservation for a friend’s birthday a few weeks in advance, we arrived for our reservation on time & while we were waiting for another person we ordered drinks & an appetizer. Our plan was to have drinks & snacks, play mini putt & then order dinner. As we had never been before, we had hoped to make it a fun night. When our friend arrived & she tried to order, our server said she couldn’t take our order without her iPad & proceeded to walk away (this would be the first of many times she would come to our table unable to take our order due to not having her iPad). She then tells my friend that we have to leave in an hour due to a private event (this was never mentioned to me when reserving or when we arrived). I mentioned we were not told this & were there for a birthday. The manger/owner came to our table & said they had booked a private EDM event 3 months ago & all staff were aware. He offered to move us upstairs (he told us it was hot upstairs) & that we could stay for 1 hour. We asked about the mini putt & were then told that half of the mini putt had already been removed due to the show, he said he would comp us the mini golf, which ended up taking us maybe 10 minutes to complete. My friends ordered tacos & both were disappointed, they had very little meat inside & both of the orders were cold. When we mentioned this to the server she actually touched my friends food instead of just taking it back to the kitchen. We were disgusted by this! When we wanted to order our main course, once again she was unable to take our order as she didn’t have her iPad. The server then told us that we needed to move upstairs & left us to take everything upstairs instead of carrying our drinks, etc upstairs. When our main course arrived she brought no condiments, water, extra napkins & she never returned to our table to check on us. We were upstairs at least 45 minutes & she never came back even one time. I had hoped to order a special birthday dessert or fancy cocktail for my friend but at this point we just wanted to leave as we were so disappointed & shocked by the terrible service! The manager/owner did not offer to adjust our bills at all & we left. Overall incredibly disappointing night & we would not recommend to anyone. The staff were utterly incompetent & the food was...

Greeted and seated fairly quickly. The server didn't seem to know much about the menu in general as when prompted for a drink suggestion was unable to provide any assistance. She was very nice though! We placed our order for food but when it came out one of the dishes was incorrect. The server failed to recognize this, again seemingly not knowing the menu, but did get the kitchen to rectify their mistake. The server came back and apologized and took all the blame, but it was not her fault. Good for her, but a burden she should not carry.

The food was very good! I had the pork belly kimci. Having never had kimci I was unsure what to expect, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. It did take a bit to come out, but good food takes time I guess. We had the apple pie spring rolls on the suggestion of a patron leaving as we arrived. These did not disappoint either!

Throughout our visit on this day, the serving staff seemed to have a laise faire attitude towards making sure customers are satisfied. A few times we had to either ask for more drinks when we caught the servers' eye, or physically walk to the bar to ask for more drinks. Not a super huge deal, but they probably could've gotten a bigger bill out of us if they had asked what else we needed more frequently.

We played a rowdy round of mini golf (again having to ask for drinks, but really, the bar is right there so no biggy), finished our drinks, paid the tab and left.

Overall this was a great day. Could've been the company I was with, but I had a good time. I would go back, but perhaps I'd ask for refills a little more frequently. Hopefully the staff here were just having an off moment and there will be a little more sense of urgency in their approach to making the customer experience a little better. 4/5 because of the day but would be 3/5 or perhaps less if I didn't have the ability to converse and "forget" that I had no drink or food in...

We’ve been here many times and same with the food truck and the food is absolutely amazing. The reason we are only giving a 3* is because of the service we received when we had them cater our wedding. When we met Aaron early this year to get a quote and ask questions, he wasn’t really honest. One of the questions we had was how long it would take to serve a large group of people/table of 6-8 - Aaron told us they could do a table in 5-10 minutes which we were ok with. He even said that they’ve done large parties of 250+ people within 2 hours. That they would have 3 people in the truck - one who takes the order, one who cooks, and one who preps/serves WELL on our wedding day - there were only 2 people and it took about 25-30 minutes PER table. We had 10 tables including the head table, and 70 guests. It took just over 2 hours to serve everyone!! When we were under the impression it would take less than a hour. So we lost some time as we couldn’t do anything really until everyone was fed. YES they had appetizers + salad. But to take this long to serve our guests was unacceptable. The only good thing was that everyone enjoyed the food. We did email Aaron afterwards with the feedback and never heard back which is disappointing We paid good money for this.

So very disappointing and wished they were honest upfront about this and the time it would take to serve people. As we would’ve started earlier or gone elsewhere. Just a heads up if you guys decide to use the food truck for your event.

Also the communication needs to be better if they are going to close the restaurant for a day or more. The last 2 times we went, the restaurant was closed. There was no word on Facebook or Instagram advising of this. The first time we went there were 3 other vehicles who also pulled into the parking lot wanting to eat here, only for it...

Fun spot that could use a new menu. Didn't want to miss anything so I ordered the entire menu of tacos except egg plant. The food was a bit bland and flavourless. The cauliflower and gingerbeef tacos were half decent but the rest were forgetable. For $5 each, you could find better food elsewhere. The concept of bao tacos is amazing but the execution leaves something to be desired. Beer selection is pretty solid with some awesome local options. A sleeve of beer (smaller than a "Canadian pint" is $6-7). Mini golf here is quite fun at $9/per person. It is short enough that you won't hate it even if you aren't much good. The course has some fun designs inside of GET LUCKY lettering. We were the only couple playing at the time so we didn't feel rushed. The design of the place is quite nice and has a tremendous amount of potiental. When we arrived we were the only people there but the staff were very friendly. The music was pretty awesome with a nice mix of old and new rap/R&B. Overall the concept is awesome. The location is a bit odd but that makes parking a breeze. Food is a major weakness. The mini golf is the main draw here and is quite fun. This place has a has a lot of potiental! If I'm in the area again, I will be sure to update this review.

I don’t remember how I found out about this place but I as soon as I did I knew I had to go. We are both really into restaurants that have good food and an activity we can participate in on the side. And the mini golf course was everything that we could’ve ever wanted. I also had never had a bao bun or taco before and was so intrigued by how soft they looked. • Price: $$ For our appies we got • Kimchi Tots: ★★★★★ Super crispy on the outside and perfect soft on the inside. The topping was amazing as well! • Lucky Fries (topped with cauliflower): ★★★★★★★★★★ SO FREAKING GOOD! this place is super far from my house but I would literally go back just for these. And for the tacos we ordered • Chilli Chicken: ★★★★☆ this one was okay I liked the flavour but the texture not so much. • Mango Shrimp: ★★★★★ uh MAZING!!! that is all folks. athe sweetness was just a perfect little kick to the spice. • Pork Belly: ★★★★☆ • Cauliflower: ★★★★★ So crispy and perfectly battered @mandeatz on instagram
