I hate to write this review because I’ve ordered food from here for over 5 years now but honestly the food quality, service, and overall taste has declined so terribly. I use to love the paneer pakora and manchurian from here but last 2-3 times I’ve ordered it has been terrible. Last time the manchurian was so watered down with barely any taste and the manchurian balls were spongy when usually they are soft. I gave them the benefit of the doubt that maybe it was just this batch or maybe a new chef but we ordered again from them, just the paneer pakora’s this time, first off the lady who picked up the phone was beyond rude, i placed an order and i was asking her how long until it’s ready and she cut the call on me. Fast forward we picked up the food and went home to eat, they didn’t taste bad just kinda dry but there was hair in it, in the batter, and we opened up a couple and most had strands of hair, it was absolutely disgusting. We called to tell them that it was disgusting and we found hair in our food and she told us in a very accusatory tone that maybe we put it there and there probably wasn’t hair, we had to send her the picture of hair literally sticking out through the pakora and she didn’t even offer a refund but that she’ll offer us a free replacement when honestly i don’t even want that anymore. A couple years ago i would’ve recommended this place, now honestly save your money, there are so many other restaurants that make amazing indo-chinese food for better quality, taste, and actually worth the price.

The Atmosphere wasn’t much to admire when you walk in as it was quite calm and not very busy during lunch hour on a weekend. The overall aesthetic of the interior was very old school Chinese and definitely made you feel like you were somewhere else. It had lanterns and wooden tables with intricate designs. it started picking up pretty fast as lots of families came in right after we were seated. The service was pretty good I’d say besides the fact we had to repeat some of the things we’d ordered. And finally the food which was incredible, we had ordered this Hot and Sour soup which blew me away, it had such a spicy aroma and was the perfect appetizer that gave us so much flavour and an idea of what to look forward too. We also had this vegetable Pakora which was extremely crispy and was after biting it realized it was stuffed with cheese and vegetables. Our mains included a Chow Mein with cooked vegetables that had great flavours and texture. The ginger beef was the perfect balance of sweet and savoury and captivated us into its flavour. While the Shrimp Fried Rice definitely took me by surprise by being by far the best Fried Rice I’ve ever had. Overall every dish was a symphony of flavours that played together beautifully. By far my favourite Chinese restaurant that I’ve been too and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for huge portions, flavour and Asian aesthetic.

Ordered through DoorDash (food arrived too quickly which instantly had me wondering. I feel like all dishes were pre-made and sitting around). The dishes did not look like the picture on their menu. The chicken fried rice was very plain with very small chicken pieces and no soy sauce that we saw/tasted. The shrimp chow mein was okay; the noodles were good but the shrimp was super tiny with no flavour. The chicken pieces were nice and big in the sweet and sour chicken dish, but the taste of the chicken was very off. Lastly, we were excited about the chilli beef sizzler.. I guess in my head I was thinking charred thick beef pieces sitting in a small about of sauce…but the whole dish was extremely disappointing; the beef was just beef slices in a soupy sauce, and definitely not sizzling. Overall, all dishes did not impress us at all, and for the high price tag we will not be trying them again. Nothing special, little flavour, and overpriced. Not including tips/delivery and service fee, the 4 dishes came to $73, and for us it wasn’t even worth half that amount. Do not recommend unfortunately.

I would say quantity is good you get a lot for your buck but food quality is garbage 100 percent it's not worth the money that's for sure ordered a pretty big order for my birthday dinner and the dishes that were suppose to come in some kind of sauce were pretty much dried out and little to no sauce and I appreciate big pieces of chicken but when some pieces are big and others are small the way the meat is cooked makes a difference the meat was undercooked or over cooked not good consistency the restaurant can have good potential if they start seasoning food properly blan felt like I just opened chicken from the grocery store microwaved it half cooked and dug right in leaving my taste buds disspointed. If I continue writing I am just going to be bashing to much I feel because it was absolute rubbish I know people in the world need food and this would be a feast to some but when you are a business and taking people dollars and giving them food like this it dissapoints. Overall I am grateful I have food on my plate but restaurant should be ashamed for basically scamming people and not delivering freshness and possibly giving people semonella because of the undercooked meats. So if your in town and want to try this place please read...
