Its going to be a long post- here we go! So few nights ago we came to this restaurant around 1240am, in search for an Indian restaurant that would be money well spent, checked the reviews and one of the very few Indian restaurants opened at this time. Placed an order for the chicken thali, order was placed before 1 am and we started waiting because it was only 1 thali so didnât expect to receive the food at 1.40AM. I needed a spoon to eat the food and the floor supervisor Jyoti gave me a spoon all in the meanwhile she was screaming at the top of her lungs on her staff at why they missed giving a spoon on the table- as a customers point of view, maybe she was trying to make sure we got what we needed but from a human point of view- even dogs donât like to be talked to the way she was referring to her staff on the floor, the energy poured in that food was negative. Then i asked for a refill on chana they had on thali- I got it, along with a human hair as the top garnish, while the girl gave me the chana, i handed the hair strand back to the girl, she accepted-said sorry and walked away, excuse me!!! This was the call to replace the chana, not eliminate the hair only. I was upset at this and the check out time came again and jyoti came out to take payment, i expressed my distaste in the whole experience, hair in the food, 50 minutes wait to dine in for a single chicken thali, hair in the chana. Her justification to this whole experience was, ââMam we had 18 orders on uber eats along with dine in orders and that she was short staffed by 3 team members, everyoneâs feet are swollen with the amount of work they been doing and everyone has hair on the head so it can happen. I told her this is not the best way of serving and treating team members, to that, she said my team knows and is used to my voice of tone. NOPE, sorry management, we as customers are not used to serving my hard earned pennies worth of food with this energy and attitude, all wrong. I had clicked these photos before all this experience and hoped it would be a hidden gem, it was nothing more than a disgusting meal-bad and slow service and reasons to not serve right was being overwhelmed with UBER EATS ORDERS AND UNDERSTAFFING. So its okay to serve hairy food because everyone has hair anyways and its not a big deal, remove the hair, eat the food, pay the bill and goodbye. Will never return here because do they make the mithai with the same way they make orders for dine in? The loud illiterate yelling of the floor supervisor jyoti, cannot be part of my paid experience. Thankyou for the 20% discount i got for the inconvenience, because I wonât be able to pay whole 32 dollars bill; i only paid 29. Please come here if you need to know how you can eat hairy food with discounts if you are short on cash and also hear someone being yelled at...

Oh, where do I begin with my recent âfoodieâ excursion to The Taste Factory, courtesy of a lovely DoorDash pickup? Let me tell you, it was quite the adventureâone I certainly wonât forget anytime soon! Picture this: Iâm all set to indulge in some scrumptious meals, the anticipation building as I drive to the restaurantâs address, which I was provided. But lo and behold, my GPS decides that the police station is the ideal dining locale! Yes, you read that right. Apparently, my GPS must have a thrilling sense of humor because it led me on my culinary journey straight to law enforcement instead of The Taste Factory. Naturally, I called the restaurant, filled with hope that they might understand my predicament. Instead, I was met with a cold chorus of âNo, our address is correct!â Clearly, the issue was with me and my out-of-control GPS! I canât believe I would question their expertise. I even tried to include DoorDash in this chaos, hoping for some supportâafter all, I was standing outside a police station with a craving for some delicious food. Spoiler alert: they werenât much help either. It was almost as if my plight was part of an elaborate joke. In the end, I did pick up the food, but letâs be realâIâm so mad about the whole experience that I refuse to eat it. Iâve spent my hard-earned money, and here I am left wounded and hungry, opting to forgo the meal altogether. What a way to treat a hungry customer trying to do good by supporting a local business! In conclusion, if youâre up for a high-stakes game of âWhere in the world is the restaurant?â and donât mind a side of rudeness, then by all means, pay The Taste Factory a visit! Just make sure to bring your GPSâand maybe a friend who can help you navigate the absurdity. Bon appĂŠtit⌠or maybe...
Read moreWhile I don't doubt the food's quality, my family and I (amongst many others present) had a very disappointing experience during suhoor this morning. We placed our order around 4:45 AM, and by 5:45AM, we had to confront a manager or owner (his exact role was unclear) about the unacceptable service, given fajr was within 10 mins and they acknowledged the food wouldnât be ready. We, along with other customers, expressed our dissatisfaction. If the restaurant cannot handle the volume of orders, they should decline customers rather than accept them and fail to deliver. Instead of taking responsibility, the manager insisted that we (a bunch of disappointed customers with separate parties) should simply understand the workload and there was absolutely no level of accountability- just constant promises of âtwo more minutesâ until a final answer of not being able to deliver in time. As restaurant owners, it is expected that they have a reasonable estimate of cooking times, especially considering suhoor has a specific cutoff time- everyone there was present for the same reason at that time. Telling us 10 mins before our cutoff, when we have a full day ahead of us to fast is inconsiderate. We were forced to scramble at the last minute to find food at Tim Hortons. Although the food here might be good, the complete lack of accountability was my primary takeaway from this establishment. It appears other reviews today reflect similar...
