Tandoori Taj — Restaurant in Calgary

TERRIBLE customer service, employee messed up the order (wrote down 3 dahi bhalla instead of 3 orders of gol gappe) my dad who went to pick up the order called and I spoke to her over the phone and clarified our order. She admitted the error was on their part and agreed to prepare what I had ordered.

However, since she knew my dad was not aware of the conversation she charged him for the 3 plates of dahi bhalla added it into our order regardless. When I called back to complain and asked to speak to the manager, she put me on hold then hung up on me.

I had to call back AGAIN to address my issue to the manager. The food was also not the same quality as it usually is, which could be due to the fact that it was a busy Friday night but I don't think that makes it ok to serve bad food, treat a customer like this and take advantage of the fact that they are oblivious to a situation. They could've easily sold the food which we had to throw away.

Ordered food from here through skip the. I forgot to put that I needed cutlery. I then rang them directly to say I needed cutlery. Food then came but no cutlery along with no drinks that we ordered. We were staying in a hotel and had to wait 15 mins for the cutlery to come before we could eat, at which point the food was cold. The representative that I spoke to was unhelpful and lied about giving us a complementary desert. When the delivery driver turned up with the cutlery and drinks, there’s was no complementary desert. When I called again to ask where the complementary desert was he replied with I sent it, to which I replied did the driver eat it?

Worst customer service ever!! They have no manners or know how to speak to customers. I paid $90 to eat cold food. FYI I’m out of town and order to a hotel where they...

I order butter chicken and was keeping in mind that food will come with rice as usually with Indian food rice comes complimentary. As order was through uber eats , food came and bag was empty ,can trust but no dinner in bag,when complaints to Uber eats,they denied for refund. Than called Restaurant, owner said rudely,we can't do anything and if u want delivery, do again with Uber eats,owner was behaving like totally unprofessional. Asked again food and came late but he said it will take time.

Please confirm your order before placing in this restaurant where owner should do apologize .
