First of all I would like to say I go to Tim Horton's several times a day spending a minimum of 150.00 a month. This Falconridge location is the slowest drive thru in Calgary. Now it was bad enough that I could hear the other person with a huge order and had said hello into the microphone several times, when they were done ordering, they pulled forward and then they took the person behind them before me. After watching cars passing me thinking why do they have 2 intercoms. Then when I got to the window I handed her a $20.00, and when receiving my change before I could even reach for it, she dropped it some change. She noticed as did I and my passengers. She closed the window and turned around and walked away. No apology or anything. My passengers were getting angry and had told me to say something, told me not to drive away, because the coin she dropped was a toonie, and how arrogantly she said nothing not thank you, have a good day nothing. I let that Tim Horton's with the worst feeling and my passengers were substantially more angry than I was. I think your managers need to better train their staff and should not continue to employ anyone with such arrogance and lack of common courtesy that has no business in the service industry.
Your double intercom system is causing more problems with customers, not being properly positioned and continously having people cutting infront of you inline. I have learned to be an aggressive driver in only your drive thru's. And the pan handling and being harassed for change because I went to your drive thru, is unacceptable. It is illegal to panhandle or beg for change, and tim Horton's allows it to continue. I see homeless people taking shifts for begging. That is unacceptable for a business to allow beggers and panhandling to harass...
Read moreAlthough I have not bad experiences here, yesterday was shocking to say the least. So I am taking time to write this review and my goal is constructive and that is why it is not a 1. You can see from other reviews and people with same and different ethnic background it’s not just me…
Yesterday I ordered drive thru with my kids and a new girl couldn’t understand me which is fine and calls me to window. When I get there she is giving me major attitude and being very rude. Did not understand the basic concepts of western service standards and especially when she can’t speak basic English properly. Our ethnic backgrounds were the same so no bias here. She assumed I was also fresh of the boat too and started arguing with me with my kids in the car, those who understand know what I’m talking about. I tried slowly speaking to her but the her and interaction was a disaster. I do appreciate international students working rather than being a drain on the economy, and rather than being welfare leaches as I end up paying for that. However a balance is needed by getting a minimum level of service standards, and who gets hired for a service job, even if it be minimum wage. I would rather pay a bit more rather than have to spend double the time trying to be polite just to get a coffee, when it should be the other way around.
Things are going downhill fast, immigration, interest rates, and economy… This wasn’t the case as follows, but I can understand frustrations too when a doctor who gives up his life moves to Canada and ends up working at Tim’s or driving a cab as what he qualified on to come here is not even accepted...
Read moreWe visited Tim Hortons at this location since it was on our way from north east to our home in south west.
The drive-through coffee house is smaller with fewer sitting arrangements than some sizable THs. It; nonetheless, has a high bench and some high chairs for those who prefer to sit at a higher level, along with regular sitting arrangements. Also, there are three four-seated tables outdoor for those who want to enjoy al fresco dining.
There was only one customer in front of me, so my turn arrived pretty soon. The employee who took my order was courteous and efficient.
He took my order and right away gave two cups of coffee exactly as I had instructed - a sugarfree cold coffee with cream and only a few ice cubes for me, and a regular hot cup of coffee with cream and sugar for my wife.
Although the place was not pristine clean, it was not noticeably dirty. Since THs do not have table services, for most times the tables are found uncleaned in majority of Tim Hortons in Canada, so it is unfair to blame THs at this location.
I wish there were dedicated cleaning staff in every Tim Hortons to keep the restaurant clean and hygienic at...
