The bagel tasted great, the service left something to be desired. I ordered a breakfast bagel and asked them to cut it in half because my wife and I were going to share it. We got the sandwich and noticed it was not cut so I went back to ask them to cut it. The your man how helped me said they normally don't’ cut that one because it’s pretty large (something not evident in the picture) but recognized that I had asked him so he put it aside for his coworker to cut anyway. When the coworker got around to it she noticed which sandwich it was and said that they don’t usually cut that one because it can get very messy. I explained that I had asked for it to be cut when we ordered it and that I am sharing it; that’s why we bought a sandwich to share. I said that it would have been good for someone to tell me this when I ordered it then. She replied telling me “next time, let us know that when you order”. I said “I did”. She said “you didn’t tell me” (there is a sign saying not to disturbed the person making sandwiches). I said “I told him” and motioned to her coworker who took my order. She cut the sandwich, smiled and said “OK thank you!” No apology or acknowledgement that they had a hand in any misunderstanding; just feedback for the “next time” I order, as though I go there everyday. Great food, just broadcast any requests to all staff at the store or you will be “educated” on how to...

I came in looking forward to trying this place for the first time, but unfortunately my experience was underwhelming from start to finish. When it was my turn to order, I greeted the staff member with a friendly “Hi, how are you?”—only to be met with a sigh and a dismissive “I’m alright,” followed by no reciprocation and a very flat, uninterested tone. It felt unnecessarily cold and unwelcoming, especially when I later observed a much warmer interaction with another customer. In the same cold and uninterested tone he then told me there was going to be a wait with no mention of how long or apology (a wait is fine but just basic courtesy you would employ with your customers can go a long way).

I ordered a smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel, and while the bagel itself seemed fresh, the overall flavour was disappointing. The salmon was pale and lacked the richness or seasoning you’d expect, and the cream cheese ratio left the whole thing tasting pretty bland. It wasn’t bad—but it certainly wasn’t worth the lackluster service or the price point.

What really got me, though, was the attitude—as if he was the one burdened by the wait, not the customers standing there experiencing slow, indifferent service. If you’re going to make people wait, at least try not to act annoyed that...

Wayne's Bagels is my go-to spot for breakfast bagels, and it never disappoints. Located inside a vibrant farmers market, this place has quickly become a favorite for starting my day right. Their bacon is crispy and satisfying, truly food for the soul, while the eggs are poached to perfection. Combined with their delicious bagels, it’s the perfect formula for a delightful breakfast.

One of the highlights of Wayne's Bagels is the variety they offer on their menu. While everything is tempting, their breakfast bagels stand out as my favorite. Each bite is a harmonious blend of textures and flavors, from the soft yet slightly chewy bagel to the savory bacon and perfectly cooked eggs.

The ambiance of the farmers market adds to the experience, especially on weekends when there is live music. There's something special about enjoying a delicious breakfast while listening to local musicians play. It creates a lively, yet relaxing atmosphere that makes your meal even more enjoyable.

Considering the quality and taste, the prices at Wayne's Bagels are very affordable. It's a gem in Calgary, and I'm glad I found it. If you're looking for a great place to enjoy a breakfast bagel that leaves you satisfied and ready to take on the day, Wayne's Bagels is the place I...

I usually don’t leave reviews, but after seeing all the nasty (and unfair!) ones, I felt I had to share my experience. I’ve tried both locations, and both have been amazing in terms of food and service. The flavor is incredible. I’ve never thought the prices were unfair, these bagels are packed with high-quality ingredients, taste fresh, and seem to be baked the same day. Produce in Canada is already expensive, and this appears to be a small, locally owned business. I just wish people were more mindful before leaving negative reviews, especially when comparing them to fast food prices. That said, I love treating myself to their bagels every couple of weeks. My personal favorite is the chicken aioli, but every bagel I’ve tried has been great. Just a heads up: the Smoked Meat Mighty is massive!

I love your bagels, but the service at this location I received was disappointing. I accidentally ordered the cinnamon and brown sugar cream cheese and paid for it, but when I realized I meant to get the maple pecan, I apologized and asked for an exchange. The staff member said due to COVID policies, she couldn't take back the container. Then, when she brought out the maple pecan, she started ringing it up to charge me again. I explained that I just wanted an exchange, and she responded in a rude manner, saying, Fine you don’t want to pay for it? Her attitude towards customers was really off-putting.

First off, wonderful staff at this spot, very friendly. But we ordered 3 small bagel sandwiches, and one eggs Benedict, with 2 drinks and it was 66 bucks.... The sandwiches were good, but they were not worth more than 7 dollars each, let alone the $13 to $15 each, and without any side whatsoever. Lastly, the eggs benedict was one of the worst I've had, the holendase sauce was almost clear in color, and had 0 flavor. Again, good staff, waaaayyy overpriced food.
