I must express my dissatisfaction with my experience at this Wendy's location.
During my initial visit last week, I was willing to give the newly opened establishment a chance. However, the staff member who took my breakfast order, despite her commendable effort, struggled with communication due to her strong accent.
She inquired about my order multiple times, which consisted of just two sausage egg muffin sandwiches and potato wedges. Unfortunately, not only was my order incorrect, but I also ended up paying extra without realizing it. After completing my transaction, I received my order and left, only to discover at home that it was entirely wrong. Instead of the muffins, I received biscuits, and the other item I ordered was also incorrect, with an additional charge for a large item that was not part of the two-for-four special.
Fast forward to today, I returned in hopes of a better experience. Upon reaching the drive-thru window, the manager, Preet, greeted me and mistakenly asked if I had ordered one fries. I clarified that I had ordered two breakfast specials for $8.40. This clarification took a considerable amount of time, and I waited approximately ten minutes at the window before receiving my order.
Before I left, Preet kindly asked me to verify my order by checking the contents of the bag. I assured her that I trusted the computer system to have processed my order correctly.
Regrettably, upon returning home, I found that my order was once again incorrect. Despite the convenience of this Wendy's location, I am reluctant to return.
It would be beneficial for the staff to ensure accuracy before opening to customers, especially when they express a desire for feedback. Therefore, here is my feedback for Preet: improvements are necessary.
honestly maybe offer me a coupon (s) and reach out to me and figure out what they can do. I would like to help but you would think that you would...
Read moreWe were excited to see a new Wendy’s in our neighborhood open up. We have gone three times now since its opening. There will not be a fourth. First time, trash cans overflowing, garbage on the floor, trays with trash left on tables, ketchup dispenser cups were empty, had to put ketchup on cup lids, paper towel dispenser in bathroom was empty, the drink dispenser, more than half the selections were unavailable because they were empty. Waited for 15 minutes for food. Rude employees. 2nd time, stood in line for ten minutes at counter before they even took my order. Only one other person was waiting. To busy with Skip the dishes and drive thru to take customers orders. Again, dirty store. After ordering we sat at table and waited beside a couple also waiting. 15 minutes later food was ready. 25 minutes in total wait time. Could have went to Boston pizza and had a real diner in half the time. Then we had wrong order. 3rd time was last night. Went at 8:36pm. Store closes at 9pm. Doors were locked so used drive thru. Ordered two large chocolate frosties. When we finally got them 5 minutes later, they felt really light and not cold. We pulled to front of store and took the lids off to find out that they were cleaning out the machine for the night and gave us two cups of warm frothy chocolate water. I banged on the door until the let me in and they said it would be ten minutes to ready the machine so I said I just wanted my money back. The manager just looked down, didn’t say a word and handed me the debit machine for our refund. No apology, no words at all actually. This is the by far the worst unprofessional establishment and filthy place I’ve ever been in. The health board should be called. Thumbs down Wendy’s. Old Dave Thomas would be rolling in his grave about now. Never again. Stay away...
Read moreWe've been here two times now, so I feel like I can fairly review as I never do after one visit. The first time we came, they didn't have poutine, so we left and got my kids one elsewhere. The second time was last night, and I wish we had never tried again. The fries were old and dry, and the poutine and chili cheese fries were also made with old dried out fries. We unfortunately wasted our money as we had to throw them out since it was so awful. We also got a spicy chicken, which was also older and dried out but not as bad as the dave double. This Dave's double was old, and I would say microwaved. The base of the bun was flat from sitting in grease (we ate 3 minutes later) and foam like as if microwaved as well as dry. You would think a new location would be trying to put out the best and freshest food to build their customer base. This location, unfortunately, is doing the opposite. The last time I experienced this kind of quality, the franchise was closed after 4 months, and the previous one I'm thinking of was 2 years. I don't want to see anyone lose their business and large investment, which is why I hope this location starts to put out better food. They will endure higher food costs for a bit of course instead of trying to save on food costs and inevitably burying their business. This is the time to rebuild by reaching out to all your bad reviews and trying to rebuild with them and hopefully changing their reviews. Seeing there are no replies to reviews tells me that we just have an absentee owner or someone who really...
