We visited on a Sunday evening and found the café pleasantly bustling with activity, despite being managed by just one server. Even with the crowd, the service was calm and efficient, and the server handled everything with grace and a friendly attitude. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a cozy spot to relax and enjoy some quiet time. We ordered a hot chocolate and a latte—both were well-prepared and comforting. The hot chocolate was rich and smooth, while the latte had a nice balance of flavor and strength. We also tried the rainbow cake, which not only looked vibrant and cheerful but tasted just as delightful—light, moist, and not overly sweet. Overall, it was a lovely experience. It’s the kind of place where you can unwind with a good drink, a sweet treat, and enjoy a laid-back evening. We’d definitely come back, especially to try more from the menu.

I’ve been coming here every day for the last week. I’ve been returning mainly because of the lovely barista with the long blond hair. I believe her name is Richelle. She is so friendly, attentive, and kind. Every time I’ve come in with my sister, she’s given us both recommendations on what to order catered to our preferences. She always has a smile on her face and all the food and drinks she’s made have been the best we’ve had at this coffee culture. She seems to truly care about her job and the people that come in. She makes the atmosphere so friendly. She definitely deserves a raise or promotion. Picture attached of the beautiful presentation for the cake we got for dessert.

Food and coffee was good. Fast. Wifi does not work. Student staff was snarky and sarcastic about me (curiously) asking how recently the modem was reset. Apparently that’s above her pay grade, and so are manners, apparently? I understand not wanting to go above and beyond for a minimum wage job, but come on… there’s also a line. None of the outlets are putting out enough juice. Many are damaged or yanked out of the trim. Laptop wouldn’t trust the outlet. The location/area doesn’t help for property damage, but a bit of maintenance would go a long way. Won’t be back, will certainly be referring peers and colleagues elsewhere in the area. No presence from ownership.

This business is, in my view, a good example of complacency.

Let's get this out of the day: the food is good. Pastries, sandwiches, coffees...all pretty good.

The service on the other hand leaves A LOT to be desired. I just moved into the Cambridge area and the first time I went everything was pretty good.

Second time I went the person who took my order completely ignored the fact that I had ordered a bagel sandwich and I was served a croissant sandwich instead. I thought "No big deal...just let it go and make sure to make my order clear next time."

Third time I went there was once again confusion with my (simple) order. The sandwich my wife had ordered was not the one she was served and this time it was not just a different type of bread, just a completely different sandwich. Coffee was cold too. Oh well...bad luck we thought.

Yesterday I was there once more for breakfast with my wife. We ordered 2 sandwiches and took a seat. My sandwich was called out and I went to pick it up and took it to the table and went back to the pickup area to wait for my wife's sandwich that, I thought, would be ready right after mine. The person behind the counter (same one that had taken my order a few minutes ago) looked at me and asked "Are you waiting for something?" to which I replied "My wife's sandwich." and she said "Oh, I thought you hadn't ordered that." Surprising to say the least! Though upset, I followed her instructions and went back to the line and ordered the sandwich all over again. At this point I am thinking she will get it done fast because she now knows she made a mistake so instead of going back to my table, I stand at the counter and wait. No fewer than 5 sandwiches and 1 bowl of yogurt was prepared and dispatched before she even started making my wife's sandwich! No sense of urgency...as if she had not made a mistake at all and did not have to even think about making up for it in some way. I received my wife's sandwich, went back to my table and ate my, by now, COLD sandwich but my nice breakfast out with my wife was already just a bad experience.

When we were done eating, I went back to order a couple of muffins to take home. The person who took my order did so with no issues and I checked that 2 muffins were actually ordered. I stepped to the pickup area again to wait for my order and I noticed no one was actually putting any muffins in a bag for me. The person with whom I had already had an issue because of my wife's sandwich noticed me again and went to the person that had taken my order and asked her if she was getting my order. The person who had taken my order NOT EVEN 40 SECONDS AGO looked at me and asked what I was waiting for!!! That was it...I thought about talking to the manager but then decided I am just giving up on this place and never coming back.

I can tell this business has been there a while. Some people are greeted as if they have been customers for a long time. The sense I get is that these folks are comfortable with their situation and are no longer interested in providing good service. They must think that good food alone will keep people coming back.

Last bit: as I was finally getting my two muffins a gentleman came up to the pickup area to complain he had been given the wrong sandwich...right then and there I knew I was right not to want...

This is not a energetically safe place to be , a lot of wolves in sheep clothing . I went in yesterday as a customer, sat down with my new friend who I didn't get a chance to say by because the owners were DISCRIMINTING against some people who came in after me taking a break ,for a smoke. I felt this place was a loving atmosphere tbh over priced, Starbuck is more human like. It is sad to say just cause the two people behind me looked homeless they yelled at the two guys to get out and all because they looked homeless. I stopped her and the co owner from speaking hatred at the cost of someone's else mind ,heart and soul. They left and felt ashamed and even apologized to me when I went to say I'm really sorry for how they were treated.

The owners than didn't enjoy how I comfort them and I went to head back inside to continue lunch with my beautiful friend Jessica before I was rudely interrupted by the owners , asking me to leave because of my heart comforting them.

When I decided to voice my truth I completely told exactly the truth and nothing but the truth , so help them God. I was not even done my other half of the bagel before I was threatened with the police. And I told them I would wait for them and to top it off the officer who's badge number and name will stay off the web for now , didn't ask anything and also rudely interrupted to kick me out , she didn't care to hear anything , so I didn't care to fight my case and left .

Such a sadness I felt and experienced . I've live in cambridge 282years and I feel like this city only has cafes for specific people. I'm glad I am making bombass coffe- I guess one man's trash of a business is another men's treasure.

Definitely not recommend. If you do ,don't even bother talking or exchanging...

Do not come here at all, I couldn’t ever be bothered to come here again. Staff is actually ridiculous and has the worst customer service I have ever seen in my life. Owner sends the same response to everyone at least be personal with your customers who PAY FOR YOUR FOOD. I would like a real response not some automated response which is not very helpful for anyone. fix your staff. One of there staff members had the audacity to kick my mother out for wanting Her item fixed… staff member look like she wanted to fight my mom. is she 12 years old? Deal with your emotions no one was coming at you. which is ridiculous. Garbage customer service re-train your stuff or get new ones. As someone who has worked in customer service for years. You can never treat a paying customer like this. “Hurting young girls feelings” over what a SANDWICH. THAT THEY MESSED UP……. lol what a joke. BUILD UP UR SELF Esteem and RESPECT OTHERS.. Grow up and be a “grown woman” before you try and treat someone else like this. YOU POOR “YOUNG GIRL” who has a job… makes money!!! Your an adult in the real world. CRYYYY ABOUT IT you DEAL WITH CUSTOMERSS on the daily basis. YOU MESSED UP ITS ON YOU. Fix it and apologize NOT GET MAD AT THE CUSTOMER.It’s not hard or time consuming. We said light butter. and it had a big GLOB of butter all’s we wanted was it done the right way and they couldn’t be bothered TO FIX just decided to scrape some off… WHAT A JOKE. What is it coming out of your paycheque to remake one? it’s simple make another one and be nice about it . again your mistake. Not my mothers. She is paying for her food which everyone would like it to be done properly. Without rudeness and unfairness. GARAGE SERVICE AND TERRIBLE...
