Noodlebox — Restaurant in Cambridge

Absolutely TERRIBLE experience. Don't waste your money. I ordered from Uber Eats, and we tried the Butter Chicken Bowl, and it was VERY spicy, we had ordered mild. When I called the store, the person who answered on May 30th at approximately 7:50pm told me he 'watched the video' of the cook making the food and said no extra spice was added. Ok, first of all don't bullshit me... how stupid of a comment is that?! And of course, thats a flat out lie and I know it. We have butter chicken dishes everywhere we go, we always ask for mild, and I'm sorry but NO. This was NOT mild. I wanted a refund, he told me to contact UBER EATS. Are you kidding me? My husband had the drunked noodles, he thought it was pretty tasteless, and he also thought it was too spicy. I ordered the spicy peanut and I thought it was fine, but thats it. Nothing special. I definitely would NOT rave about this place, its really not worth the price point.

When this place first opened it was decent. I went a couple times after and the quality of food and prep was noticeably declining. Today, I gave it another shot, however, I was heavily disappointed as I ordered two beef pad Thais with mild spice. The noodles were over done, clumpy and dry. The beef was overdone and dry. The entire dish had very little sauce and no flavour. I don’t know what changed since they opened, but unfortunately, I DO NOT recommend eating here as the quality of their dishes is poor and overpriced for how bad it is. I went to this store for lunch with a free promotion given to me by my work. The noodles felt under cooked aswell as the meat. I felt sick almost immediately after eating this and ended up in bed with the worst food poisoning I’ve ever had. The group I ended up going with all were projectile vomiting everywhere and ended up having to go to the hospital. I couldn’t recommend avoiding this place enough, if you have any value for your dollar, stomach, or job you won’t even come close to associating yourself with this filth. Service was good but the food was awful this is a disgrace to the Noodlebox name as the store in Guelph was infinitely better quality in every way. You couldn’t pay me enough to eat here. -10 stars....
