Hi, Dave Fox here from Starscape SEO in Cambridge. I'm a regular at this Starbucks, and they know me at all the Starbucks as "Young Coconut". Anyway, I generally like this Starbucks. I have my personal gripes but they aren't that important, I guess. But what's the fun in reviewing if you can't complain?!!
The one thing I will say that I hope reaches Starbucks HQ is the camera thing. The employees obviously can see you through the camera, and talk to you like they know it's you, but since you can't see them, you just have someone acting like they know your order, or assume it, while you're left wondering who exactly you're talking to.
The point is, there's something weird about them watching you on the camera, knowing who you are, assuming your order, and then acting weird if you order something different one day. There is only one barista who works there that never gives me the "oh hey it's you, you want the usual?" while I'm like "I guess...who is this?"
Also, not pointing the finger, but this extends to customer service - if you don't like serving customers, guess what people? WE CAN TELL. It just makes the place less appealing to visit. My one friend is waiting for the employees to be replaced by robots so they can not give him attitude and get his order right.
Aside from this stuff, and the occasional lunatic walking through the parking lot yelling and almost bumping into my car or sleeping on that one bench, cool spot. I don't mind excessive...
Read moreI stopped by this starbucks to use the restroom and charge my phone. While i waited for my phone to charge i looked at the menu there and while i was looking someone offered to help me, I later found out her name was Alexis. I told her i was just checking prices and realized they're not expensive like i always assumed and that i didnt have enough to purchase anything. She offered me a drink of my choice and she helped me find something i would enjoy. I had an iced espresso(next time i will ask for less espresso so it isnt too strong) that had whipped topping. After I thanked her for being so kind to give me a free beverage, she replied if im not leaving yet she had something elsr for me to try. I sat down and she brought me a sandwich I believe was vegatarian it had sundried tomatoes and spinach or lettuce and cheese, it was really good i would definetly order that again. Anyways I just wanted to share my story, Im actually homeless and was hungry. I felt comfortable there, I was treated with respect and kindness. Thank you Alexia for that experience, you made me feel like i was/am welcome regardless of me having money or not. I look forward to seeing you more often and soon. Thank you again I am more...
Read moreI should have written this a while ago but like many, I’ve taken the simple pleasure of my morning Starbucks run for granted :) The baristas that they’ve selected to support your morning are truly one of the warmest, kindest groups of people I’ve had the good fortune to run into. They remember my name by my morning order alone … which might seem like a small thing … but it’s not, it’s personal, and it’s appreciated. No matter how quirky my requests are (do you mind cutting this straw down for example) they’re always happy to oblige. I just love this team. Great work everyone!
The only negative I have on this location is regarding the landlord / property owner and the way they allowed the drive trough pavement to degrade spectacularly. To them I say … do...
