First off...I love Dairy Queen! But I hate this location!!! Not only is the construction a complete nightmare to get to this location...then you have to deal with the Einsteins on the inside.
I ordered 2 blizzards...to go. Should be simple enough. It took me not once, not twice...but 4x to repeat the order so Mr. Personality behind the counter understood. Then it was given to me half melted. I asked them that this order was "to go" and I don't think that the blizzard will make it all the way home since it's half melted. They all look at each other like a deer caught in headlights. And do nothing...
I ask for it colder...and again...nothing. Oh well. Then I ask for a cover to make it "to go" and he jams it on there not centered and pushes most of the icecream that's already running down the sides, more down the sides, and hands it to me. In frustration I just deal with it...cuz I wants my blizzard...and go. By the time I'm at the car about 10 feet away it's already running down my arm. And lets just say that the inside of my car is a sticky mess now.
I attempted to call the manager to ask "what's up with all that?" and maybe to train. But again...Mr. Personality answers the phone and it takes forever for him just to understand that I want to talk with the manager. And after waiting on the phone...she never came. So I hung up.
Again...I love my Dairy Queen...but this location...ugh...I just can't stand it. I ask you all...boycot it. Get DQ-HQ to realize what a cluster this location is...and to restaff/retrain them.
I know this is a lot of grief over a blizzard. But dealing with the folks in there is so frustrating and it happens every time I go.
Maybe I should just give up on DQ. And that...
Read moreGoing for a quick treat and snack turned into a 45 minute waste of time and money. I'm easy going and am not putting this on the staff who were doing their best under the circumstances... the owner needs to take proper care of this place. They were out of fries, to which many customers had coupons for and were leaving angry. The blizzards took a long time, mine was so full I had to ask for a second cup which I scraped it into and it filled half way. More icecream is always nice, but it was just sloppy and too much to handle. The orders of pretzels (which are the reason I came) were drenched in oil, missing the queso dip. The employees all vanished for 5m while I waited to ask for the dip. They only had 1 left despite me having 2 orders which is okay, but they microwaved it in the plastic container with the lid on for so long the plastic was warped and melting. The only 2 people there seemed very stressed, which is understandable considering they were short on food, staff, and dealing with a flood of disappointed customers. The place is a mess, falling apart. Loose wood, spider webs, and cracked tiles everywhere. The owner truly needs to get control of their business, manage their inventory and take care of the building a staff properly - especially just after a coupon release in the mail. Going to have to get DQ...
Read moreI haven't been to this location in a very long time. My daughter, who loves Dairy Cream, said she felt for one. She decided on the Oreo brownie cupfection. The staff were not paying attention; they got our order mixed up with someone else's. When she received her order, there was barely any ice cream and lots of chocolate syrup. I returned and requested that they remake it as it looked nothing like the advertisement. To which they laughed and said that's how it's made. They called the manager/owner, unsure who had said that the ice cream was always on the side of the cup, and pointed out that there was ice cream. I took it back and advised I would never be coming back. I wish I had a picture. I work in customer service and try to be respectful and fair. I don't appreciate getting ripped off. I should have gone to McDonald's, where it would have been half the cost. When you pay more, you...
