April 29, 2024 - 4☆ rating I ordered the Monday special, Beef teriyaki bowl and it was good. It was served pretty fast. The cashier/server was nice.

May 2023 - 5th visit- 3 ☆ rating I had the teriyaki chicken, Tuesday special and it was good except for the rice. The rice is not the same as before where you can tell it's short grain rice of high quality. The rice being used is a cheap kind and the texture is pretty rough upon swallowing it. It takes away the goodness of the dish. I may no longer visit this place unless they serve a good quality rice.

August 29, 2022 4th visit- 3☆ rating I ordered the Monday special which is the Teriyaki Beef in a bowl. Definitely the serving is way less than before. There's too much sauce, the beans proud salad is way too salty! May 2022 3rd visit 3 ☆ rating Ordered Salmon Bento Rice with tempura and Dumplings My tempura were soaked in oil, should have been fried first among the dishes so it has time to drip the oil. So my rating goes from a 4 to a 3 ☆ rating.

2nd visit - 4 ☆ rating Ordered 2 bento meals One with salmon and the other with beef. My friend and I both enjoyed our meal. I appreciate the freshness of the dishes. Definitely a big change from my 1☆ rating over a year ago to a 4☆ rating! There must have been a change in management. I hope this place can maintain the quality of their menu.

2020 - 1☆ rating August 2020 I have come to realized, the udon noodle soup on special during Thursday, the chicken they serve is day old. The chicken batter is dry, the meat is dry and hard to chew. Customer service has always been bad. I'll never come back...

A couple of weeks ago, I visited the Tokyo Express location at Unity Square around 1:15 AM after a long day of work. I’ve always looked forward to dining in at this restaurant to enjoy a hot meal and unwind before heading home.

However, on this particular Tuesday, my experience was disappointing. When I arrived and tried to place my usual dine-in order, one of the male staff members informed me that they were only offering takeout—no dine-in allowed. This was confusing, as I’ve dined in around the same time before, and there are no visible signs stating that dine-in service ends at 1:00 AM. The restaurant closes at 2:00 AM, so I didn’t expect this restriction.

I explained that I was very hungry and just wanted to eat my meal in the restaurant. He reluctantly allowed me to order from the kids’ menu, but charged me over $6.00 instead of the regular $4.99 price. On top of that, his tone and attitude were dismissive and unprofessional, which added to my frustration. I ended up not eating at this restaurant.

What bothered me most was not just the dine-in policy, but the lack of clear communication and poor customer service. If there truly is a dine-in cutoff at 1:00 AM, it should be clearly posted. More importantly, it should be communicated politely and respectfully.

Since that experience, I’ve chosen not to return to this location. To anyone reading this: be mindful of the inconsistent service, especially during late hours. I hope management addresses this issue and provides better training on how to treat customers with courtesy especially when they’re simply trying to...

Just had the pleasure of eating here after being reminded of their buy one get one 50% drinks.

Mango/Passion Fruit & Mango/Pineapple were the available flavors...and mmmm they delivered.

Mike was the Chef and let me say it was a pleasure to eat his food. He was an amazing host as well came out to speak to me due to my dietary restriction. He catered a entire meal for me! So please never hesitate to ask what Mike can do for you! Call in advance would definitely help the process.

The manager was amazing, I was unable to get her name. She helped Mike create a meal for me due to just being familiar with some of the ingredients and I really appreciated that.

Not withstanding her great customer service to other patrons of the restaurant, Uber/Skip and Delivery drivers while we were there.

I highly recommend here if you want something small or a full out meal.

I had a Chicken Udon Soup made with custom broth while my friend had the mini dragon sushi (He professed the Orange fish eggs are delicious!)
