Edo is always one of my go-tos for a quick, affordable and tasty meal, and this has certainly become one of my favourite locations in the city!! The location is great as it’s nearby a lot of main locations, and the building inside is super clean! The late hours are a bonus if you’re a late time worker/person and are looking for a good place to eat. Lots of space and seating, with usb outlets if you need to charge your phone! And most noteworthy, the service is wonderful!! The people working today were super energetic, friendly and inviting. Very attentive to anything we needed and checked up on us through the meal. Great workers that make this place noteworthy against other Edo’s! Definitely come here for sure if you’re in the area and like the franchise. I do not live in the city so I can’t be a regular, but I’ll certainly come again if I’m in the area! 😊 Oh, and I definitely recommend getting the poke bowl and milk tea! My favourite usuals I get since they released.

Dining in sucks now. They ripped out the nice cushy booths and seats and replaced it with cheap fake wood plastic furniture. The interior was also ripped out and is just a millennial white-washed design. The stools at higher tables don't even have chair backs. And the chairs with backs are so upright and rigid I would rather eat in my car. Safe to say this edo is no longer eat-in-friendly with the anti-consumer furniture (not to mention the 30minute max parking). To my grandparents, older review readers and fellow gym bros with not as good backs, time to find a new fast-food noodle shop. Staff are also so new that I had to remind them of the daily special charge, otherwise they were going to charge me full price. They also got my order wrong and tried to give me noodles when I had ordered soup. New management is also so lazy that the new furniture still has shipping plastic around the legs. Safe to say the Edo period on Longstreet has ended.

This place is a go to for me. A chain in Edmonton (and calgary) but surprisingly no where to be found out in BC or Ontario. I always crave my teriyaki chicken bowl with "two scoops of sauce and add side salable please" order. Great customer service here and great wait times. I have never been stuck at this location because of a line or because of a kitchen problem. Awesome customer service and a lovely clean spot for some fast and delicious Asian fare. I always miss it when I have to go, and crave it when I get back to town.

This location used to be the best in Edmonton. Slowly the quality of taste has gone down and the portion sizes has shrunk drastically. They fill the plate with rice or noodles to make up for the lack in beef or chicken. The only thing that has gone up is by no surprise the price of the food. Usually when the cost go up the quality goes up also. Not in this case. Double meat used to cost $2 now it's past $3 and when you get the plate it only looks like a regular portion with no extra. I would hate to see what a regular portion size looks like. My only positive comment would be the taste of the sushi rolls. They are never a let down but only if the certain Filipina lady is making them. Everyone else that makes them they fall apart and your having to eat sushi with a fork.

Update dec 31 2023 Appears they have (All new staff) And or owners as well. Cannot roll sushi. Falls apart once you get it. Might as well be a sushi bowl in the container. Taste and quality went even further downhill. I didn't even think it was possible but portion sizes are even smaller with higher prices. Asked for extra gyosa sauce in the small containers they gave out as they only had a tea spoon of sauce in the container. The lady serving behind the counter gave a dirty look and was making rude comments to her male coworking at the grill in another language thinking I didn't understand her. Well I do know what was said and they should be disciplined. Totally...

I recently visited Edo Japan and had such a positive experience that I felt compelled to leave a review. From the moment I walked in, the staff went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcomed and taken care of. I have specific dietary needs, and not only were they understanding, but they also took the time to explain my options thoroughly and even offered customizations to make sure my meal suited me perfectly.

It’s rare to find fast-casual restaurants where the team genuinely cares about the customer experience, but at Edo Japan, it’s clear that customer satisfaction is a top priority. The staff were friendly, patient, and attentive, making the entire visit feel personal and appreciated.

On top of the incredible service, the food was fresh, flavorful, and exactly what I was hoping for. You can tell that quality matters here — both in how they prepare their meals and in how they treat their guests.

Highly recommend Edo Japan to anyone looking for great food and a team that truly cares. I’ll...

I came here awhile ago with my family (we eat edo all the time) and I will never be back to this location. My sister got a kids meal with only chicken and rice and they put half a scoop of rice.... she always gets the same thing and has never complained about still being hungry after. There was next to no rice in this kids meal and we never complain, but we brought it up to the people working. They said that is what comes with the kids meal, and were very rude. Rice is so inexpensive so it's a joke that they literally put a couple of tablespoons in her meal, and could have fixed the issue if they would have just offered to put a normal ammount.

I have never had this issue at any other edo location - every other location is consistent and the staff at the other locations are always lovely. This should have been an easy fix. I tried to contact management but they didn't care. I understand it is such a small thing - but you'd think they would want to keep some consistent business and fix their...
