I went to the Match Eatery & Public House to grab drinks and food with my co-workes and received very awful service. I was appalled at the attitude that my waitress had towards me. The waitress came around to take our order and I had ordered a drink and fries. As she continued to take my co-workers order I had changed my mind on my food choice. I asked if instead of the fries I could get a burger. She then continued to take the remaining orders and before she left I tried to confirm that I did not want the fries and only wanted the burger. She nodded and said yes then walked away. Despite my efforts to make her understand what I wanted, she had punched in the order for the fries. When the food came to the table it was not delivered to us by the waitress that took our order. So she was confused as to who's fries they were and I explained that it was a probably a misunderstanding on the waitress's part. The waitress said okay and walked off. The waitress who had originally taken the order came back and very rudely asked "so you don't want the fries?" I replied saying "no, because that's not what I ordered." The waitress replied "well they will be going to waste if you don't take them, so I'm just going to leave them on the table." The waitress spoke to me with lots of attitude and was bluntly rude. So much so that it ruined not only my experience but my co-workers. This was my first time coming here and, needless to say, I will not...
Read moreSeptember 8th a quiet sunny evening we showed up probably right at the beginning of Happy Hour. There were only 2 other tables seated on the patio and it took us 15 minutes to even have someone come and acknowledge us. It went from bad to worse. The are handing out a "Summer Rose" flyer for wine. We tried ordering each Glass off that menu. Sorry we don't have that... went through all 3 then switched to red. The first two reds I requested, sorry we are out of that. Was probably half an hour by the time we were able to even order a drink. My husband tried to order a meal, again sorry we don't have that today. This place used to be our go to. Not sure if Covid can be blamed as liquor doesn't seem to be something in short supply right now and there were 3 girls working so the service just seemed to be alot of confusion. We had been there a few weeks previous in the evening at the casino and the food quality was nothing like it used to be. Our meal was mediocre at best, complete lack of any apology for the lack of advertised wines. Unfortunately we won't be back and have heard from others they feel the same. Lastly just a note if you reprint your menu. Your street tacos are cheaper from the regular menu than you have them advertised for...
Read moreThis past Sunday we met another couple for lunch and a few cold beverages. Initially the hostess to an extended time to even greet/acknowledge us. We them waited 10 minites before a server enquired about our drinks. There was a frand total of 15 people in this restaurant at the time. We asked for the patio heaters to be turned around our table, it was crazy hot, that took almost 20 minutes, I actually had to get up and walk away from the table for 10 minutes until the heaters were turned off. One of the orders of sliders were served under cooked, almost raw. The server did replace the order, and then charged us for both on the bill. We had to point it out to her for correction. We split the bill, one couple paid with credit and added their 10% tip, we paid with credit and was leaving a cash tip. The server actually confronted us asking why she only received a low tip, this was seconds before we put our cash tip on the table for her. The manager when informed about this did next to nothing. No credit on the bill, no gift card or even the offer of either. She took my cell #, and then never heard a word since. We were disgusted, and will not take our dining $$$$ there again. Nor will we promote to our friends alike. Good luck...
