I am a regular customer at this location, when i recently visited, there were spare chairs that I could use for my bag and my extra paperwork to be put aside and the table i was using was too small for all. After a while, it got crowded and this old lady with sunglasses came to me and asked to use my chair i put my bag on. I was hesitating because I was lacking space to put my work and my bag but she just took my bag down on her own saying āthis is for people, not for bagā and just took it away. As everyone near me were surprised by how the old lady behaved, Although I was very much offended, I just took an extra chair again and put it aside to put my work and my bag. Then she came again and did it again! This time it was not for her but for the new customer who just came in and was thanked by him for stealing the chair I was using. Because I was seeing other chairs with bags on as well, i asked āare you going to take their chairs too?ā And she yelled at me saying āYou are young! It is just a bag so put it on the groundā ......??? What a logical explanation sheās got for an unnecessarily rude attitude! So i called the manager and told him everything so he could make sure this does not happen to me or anyone else again because I have also been a customer who could not find place to sit or all chairs being used for whatever the purpose is when it was crowded so just took the drinks out. It is obvious that you are not suppose to yell, forcefully take away chair that is being used, touch otherās belonging when sharing the public place like starbucks but apparently he did not agree that such things should be forbidden. The disappointment of this location started here when he said āI cannot stop her from saying anything unless she is swearing or something, then I can call the police but i cannot make her do anything.ā I am assuming this situation was out of his ability as a person in charge to take care and solve wisely for the sake of all customerās convenience. Even the people sitting around me were feeling discomfort and told me how inappropriate the old lady was and all he wanted was to wait until the situation gets worse so he could call the police? Are police that free to deal this kind of minor incidences? I was not offended much by the rude old ladyās attitude because everyone around me felt that she was crazy and hysterical but the manager does not seem to care about the safety, rights, comfort of customers and is only interested in collecting the pension the old...

My family and I (a group of five with three being severely lactose intolerant) showed up while it was fairly dead and made a large order. While ordering the drinks we made it very clear that we had three lactose intolerant people in our group. We asked the guy who was taking the orders what percent the lactose free milk was, and his response was simply "I don't know", I mean he didn't even bother checking, he just brushed us off. Throughout the whole order all we got from the cashier was attitude, arrogance, and the feeling that we were somehow a burden for making him do his job. This is unfortunate because for the many years that I've been going here all of the staff have been very friendly and accommodating.
While he was writing on the cups he messed up and only wrote lactose free on two of the three drinks, so when it was made it was handed over with lactose milk. Although we did catch his mistake, unfortunately it was shortly after my girlfriend had started drinking it, and she still ended up getting sick because of it. We should have been more diligent because mistakes do happen, but this was a pretty big detail to miss as we made it very clear to the cashier that three in our group were severely lactose intolerant.
Instead of going to the store the next day and making a scene, we decided it would be better to get in contact with the manager directly over the phone and have a discussion about the issue. Unfortunately we had to call a number of times before the manager bothered to get back to us. Upon calling the store, the barista who answered the phone flat out refused to put the manager on the phone, without giving us a reason, despite saying that she was at the store. When she finally got back to us we explained what had happened and that we were not happy with how we were treated. Unfortunately she was very dismissive of the incident, offered a very fake apology, gave us a lot of attitude and tried to cut the call short. She didn't even ask if my girlfriend was okay or seem to care in the slightest about the incident. This could have been a lot more serious and I am very disappointed with how the situation was handled, especially since Starbucks is known for having excellent...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI can't believe that a brand that is usually as reliable as Starbucks allows a location like this to continue operating and representing their brand. The service is incredibly slow even in the off season, and the manager was one of the most childish, unprofessional people I've ever had the misfortune to encounter in retail. My mom ended up waiting 45 minutes for her drink with zero apologies from the manager, who refused to give her her money back when after half an hour she very politely said she couldn't wait any longer, but what did give us was an insane amount of attitude! From the reviews, it seems that this was not an isolated experience.
I couldn't believe the way that this manager spoke to her employees and to us. It shocked even the people around us, three or four of whom made comments on our treatment and how long we had been waiting. She used either the type of nasty voice that an angsty teenager would use when yelling at their parents, or the condescending voice you use when talking to a baby. I couldn't even believe it. She tried to convince us we just didn't remember what she had ordered and completely ignored us asking for the money back, talking right over us to loudly say, "WHAT did you ORDER? WHAT did you ORDER!?" with a very nasty look on her face, and when my mom finally became so exasperated that she threw her hands up in the air and said, "Fine! Just make me my latte!" the manager took a cup and slammed it down as hard as she could at the very end of a long line of orders, so that the cup fell over and rolled away. She just walked away and pretended we didn't exist after that. We finally got our drinks five minutes later when a nice barista came and picked it up and put it to the front of the line, but we paid full price with no apology after being in the Starbucks for a full hour. I e-mailed customer service, which said they try to respond in one business day, but that was in mid-September.
