As November draws to a close and the holiday season begins, we look forward to 2024. I think everyone’s new years resolution should be to stop pretending that Olive Garden is good. This won’t be one of those reviews whining about how it isn’t authentic Italian experience. That’s like when people cry about Taco Bell not being mexican, we all already know that. It’s American-Italian food! Fluffy breads, cheese heavy pastas, but everyone likes it, including myself. Many places succeed at this, pasta polo, the old spaghetti factory, and a few choice pizza joints. Many people consider Olive Garden to be the gold standard, and they wear that on their sleeve. Standing proud and tall, the second you walk towards the entrance they have a weird engraved stone of the working managers name, as if they’re a war hero or something. The interior is equally as strange, lots of props, kinda like a movie set. Big trouble in little Italy ensues. When we were seated we ordered a bottle of moscato and the glasses we were given were stained and had lipstick marks on them. When we told our server they seemed kinda overwhelmed. As a little bit of time passed and a bit of reading the room, it seemed like a lot of the employees were stressed out. While the evening progressed it started to make sense, the negative vibes in the air. The way they operate is entirely sloppy and the results show in their performance, which is not the servers fault. When it was time for shift change, they don’t let the servers finish their table. Instead they leave you without a server and send the new ones in to be greeted by upset customers who were left alone, what a nice way to start your shift. Olive Garden should be ashamed. When our starters came we were looking forward to it. A huge staple of Olive Garden is their unlimited breadsticks, soup, and salads. My friend and I both went for the soup that had gnocchi and chicken, it seemed like a safe play. The gnocchi was undercooked, you could tell by it’s pale face before taking a bite, and when you did you were greeted by the taste of flour and raw dough. They were also light on the breadsticks, 3 to split between the two of us and never coming back with more. When the entrees came it started to feel like we were being Punk’d, I was really hoping my new waiter at shift change would be Ashton Kutcher. Considering Olive Garden has a thing for theatrics, always making their poor employees carry these comically oversized trays, and silly portable stands. The seafood fettuccine was a sad sight, the noodles were incredibly dry and the sauce was a small puddle in the middle. Resembling spilled milk, but worth crying over. My shrimp and chicken carbonara was a step up but not a hit. Given the name you’d think that the chicken or even the shrimp would be the stars of the show but it was mostly red peppers, which I don’t mind but they were way too generous with them. The chicken was heavily breaded but drowned by the sauce, losing all it’s crispy integrity, but then again it’s breading to chicken ratio was mostly just bread. Shrimp was chewy, overcooked. All I can really say was the sauce and pasta weren’t half bad but that’s pretty sad for $30. We ended up sending the fettuccine back to the kitchen and getting the bill. After paying they had one more surprise for us, the chocolate they left for us was unwrapped and picked at. Mama mia.

I had the opportunity to visit Langley Olive Garden for the second time and frankly speaking, it took slightly over 5 minutes for me to be given my seat, which was quite refreshing considering their usual wait times. In addition to the great food, our visit was made exceptional by our waitress, Chriscilla. She was polite and offered great assistance to my friends and me as we studied the menu. Her smile and attitude also made her great because she served us very promptly. She made a lot of stops at our table to make sure we were okay and that our needs were satisfied. I had one of the best meals of my life, the gluten-free creamy mushroom rigatoni. As long as she wasn’t overloaded with requests she was more than happy to get more breadsticks. The side salad was another highlight of the meal. I was trying it for the first time and the combination of the freshly cut lettuce with the dressing was great, and the tasty bites were numerous. Chriscilla gladly refilled it as many times we asked. Generally, I could expand on the good sides of this particular Olive Garden outlet, however, I suggest that you go and see it for yourself. Should you be visiting during the peak hours, you should consider utilizing their online waiting list feature as it can be helpful—you can also view approximated wait durations from the information available on their site. To me, Langley Olive Garden ranks in the top most position in terms of service efficiency, food taste and the overall feeling of the restaurant experience. I am sure that I will revisit it!

I recently visited the Olive Garden Italian Restaurant in Langley with my family, and we had a great time. The restaurant is a perfect spot for family gatherings, and it's always better to book it for weekends as it can get busy. The quality of the food was good, and we enjoyed our meals. For starters, we ordered their famous breadsticks, which were warm and soft, and the Calamari, which was crispy and delicious. For the main course, I had the Tour of Italy, which was a combination of Chicken Parmigiana, Lasagna Classico, and Fettuccine Alfredo. It was a generous portion and was delicious. The other members of my family ordered the Five Cheese Ziti al Forno, Cheese Ravioli, Alfredo, and Spaghetti with Meat Sauce. They all enjoyed their meals and commented on how flavorful the sauces were. Apart from the food, the staff at the Olive Garden Italian Restaurant in Langley were excellent. They were friendly and attentive, making sure that we had everything we needed. They made us feel welcome and provided us with excellent service throughout our meal. In conclusion, I would highly recommend the Olive Garden Italian Restaurant in Langley. It's a great place to spend time with family, and the food is of good quality. I especially enjoyed the breadsticks, Calamari, and Italian Feast. The Five Cheese Ziti al Forno, Cheese Ravioli, Alfredo, and Spaghetti with Meat Sauce were also good options. Finally, the staff were very nice and provided excellent service.

Steak Gorgonzola Alfredo $30.49 Grilled sirloin tips (6 oz) over fettuccine alfredo, tossed with gorgonzola blue cheese and spinach. Topped with sun-dried tomatoes and a balsamic drizzle. Steak prepared medium.

This was a really interesting, cute boutique style restaurant. I love the fact that it’s so homey and the atmosphere is friendly and inviting, and I really like the whole idea of all the booths and the way that the tables are all set up. It’s actually quite deceiving the restaurant outside does not look as large as it is on the inside and it’s also spaced out really well so you don’t feel like you’re being crowded even though there’s a lot of people and a lot of I’m talking and going on. It’s a really friendly family, orientated date night type of restaurant that you would want to attend to as they’ve got these cute little windows and of course it was perfect cause it was raining and the lights outside are just enough to sort of slant and you can see the rain coming through the little windows and it makes it really kind of cottage feel like and it’s a really great place too . Have dinner now. Make sure that you go on the website and put your name down for the waitlist because it’s always a waitlist and there’s no reservations and so when you walk in, they’ll have your name and they say it’s about a 1015 minute wait if there’s two of you yeah it’s actually going to get go through quite quickly if you’re a bigger group, it takes a little longer, but it is still worth it. Now what I do suggest is not getting appetizers unless that’s all that you’re gonna get because you’re gonna fill up on bread and the salad unfortunately, the salad was not to my liking it’s not wasn’t very satisfactory. The presentation was poor but again that’s just my interpretation. I just didn’t feel like it was done well And I think there was way too many onions and I also think that the peppers should’ve been chopped up instead of just placed inside the salad as for the breadsticks they are delicious and they stay warm now as for our entrée I found that the steak, even though it was good and it was medium rare it was really tough, and I don’t think the knives are actually very Serrated like I don’t think they’re sharp enough so I would suggest making sure that your knives are sharp because otherwise you’re not gonna get the best size pieces now as for my friend who ordered the shrimp Parmesan Alfredo unfortunately they came with chicken and it looked like chicken fingers so again it should’ve been diced the chicken fingers but they weren’t so it wasn’t very appetizing yet. Also, the plate was not as hot as the server had said that it was as for the drinks they were perfect. I couldn’t ask for anything better. They were exactly what I wanted. I had the strawberry lemonade and I had a glass of water with lots of ice and lots of lemon and it was absolutely fantastic so that was perfect our server. Natasha was amazing, her enthusiasm and her politeness and friendly and professionalism Shine all the way through and she was Very Well presented and very well spoken and our service was really quite quick. As for the washroom, the washroom was well-maintained. It was hands-free and they also had the option of paper towel or of course, the machine to wash to dry your hands. I also like the full length mirror and I just like the fact that it was extremely clean. I would say that this was a 3 to 4 star waiting restaurant. I would also say that the service was overall satisfactory. I would say that the servers were working really hard considering it looks so busy out there. I like the fact that the hostess was well on top of everything and was able to get us seated quickly and I also like that the parking lots of free parking, and I also like the fact that there are wrought iron seats outside of the restaurant because I believe in the summertime, it gets really busy so there’s lots of areas for the people to sit down because we also have a lot of elderly people so it’s really nice that you...

We Went on a weekend and drove from burnaby. When we arrived my daughter was a bit irritated from a nap she had woken up from. While at the restaurant she was screaming and if you have kids you have dealt with the same at one time. There was a server who kept on looking and shaking her head like she was annoyed and was trying to intimidate us my guess in hopes that we would leave. Not so easy when you have 4 kids who are hungry just to pickup and leave. We had found out that she was thirsty and we could not get any water for her 10-15min as it seemed like everyone had dissapeard or no one wanting to help as my daughter was screaming. People who were seated next to us seemed to be more concerned then the actual restaurant. When she finally got water she was fine no screaming or anything. The manager also seemed to not care only after the fact and had explained to my wife they next time we come in just let them know. What does this mean that they would pretened to give us better service the next time we come in? Or just a heads up for the staff so theb know what happened before? I own 2 businesses and have always shown concern and care for the clients as they are the bread and butter for my business . The manager said he had a chat with his host about the situation as well. Im sorry you would think any place you go to either being a restaurant or a supermarket that the level of customer service and care would be #1 in this case that wasnt the story. At no point did anyone come over and ask if there was something they could do. It could have been something serious, do you think they would come then? Seems like all they want is an in and out scenario to make the most money during operational times. Also seemed like there sauce tasted like flour, so my guess they didnt make it properly and render down the flour to remove that taste. I will only be going to the US for olive garden as they show care and customer service is exceptional. My recommendation is old spagetti factory pasta is way better...
