Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in City of Spruce Grove

I have, to my knowledge, never had any issues dining from Carl's Jr. before, until now. My young family and I had just gotten back into Spruce Grove from Edmonton, and we wanted someplace fast to order from. So, we went to the Carl's Jr. drive-thru, where we ordering our 2 can dine sandwich combos for $18.99 from. I asked the employee on the headset for it, and asked her if they could add lettuce and tomatoes on the sandwiches for free, and she said yes. But, when I pulled to the window, the other employee gave me a total which included extra charges with the lettuce and tomatoes. I explained this to the employee at the window, then he discussed it with his fellow employee(s), yet they were still going to charge me extra. I don't put up with this non-sense anymore, so I politely told him I was driving through. Sorry, but you lost a customer now. Maybe do what you say you are going to do for your remaining customers. Update after 4 years: vastly improved in every respect. Ordered the same thing as 4 years ago and it was very good, with totally fresh ingredients. Very clean, happy/friendly staff, quick service and spotless bathrooms. Well done! Changing review from 1 to 4 stars, deducting one star because the soda was close to flat.

Old review from 4 years ago: Noticed the moldy bun (bottom, out of sight) only after several bites already taken. When shown to the staff, just a grunt of agreement. When I went back to my table, I saw the shift supervisor start towards me... then turn around and walk the other way. So, moldy food, one filthy ketchup bottle, surly service, grumpy employees, druggie in the corner mumbling about hanging himself, then laughing, but not eating anything. Carl's Jr. sets the bar high for customer service and the quality of their food.

The menu has many different options for burgers that I'm sure I will try one at some point. Yet their Big Carl burger is simply so good that I haven't deviated from it yet.

Their customer service is almost as good as their burgers, as they are always very enthusiastic, expedient, and very friendly! They make you feel like a guest and will guide you to some great options. They even drew a kitty cat on my Skip the Dishes order!

Overall, you can't go wrong with Carl's Jr in Spruce Grove, as they will be a better value than other options (in both price and quality!) My only complaint is that there aren't more locations around here!
