And still no reply from the owner who gave me the wrong email address. So the owner responds to my complaint and posts the wrong email address.......and you can bet it was on purpose. Ordered the large Meatball and Bacon pizza and told the guy that I do not want it overcooked nor burnt. I even showed him the colour of how I want it done. I proceeded to tell him 3 more times that I do not want it overcooked nor burnt. 4 times in total that I told him not to overcook it. A guy came in and I suggested the same pizza that he also ordered. My pizza comes out- and it is totally burnt. The guy tried to tell me that it is not burnt. I showed him like 15 spots that it was burnt. Then he tells me that I ordered it well done. First he tells me that it is not burnt and then tries to tell me that I ordered it well done. Both lies. So he gives me the other guy's pizza, which was also burnt but not as much. So this took about 55-60 min- and I told him that I had hungry children in the van. He did not care and I could see that.. Also, the "meatballs" was not meatballs, but cut up hamburger.

This pizza place was okay. It’s a clean, bright restaurant but that’s where it ends. The service was lacking as they seemed more concerned about the skip the dishes or door dash delivery people more despite having two or three tables of customers. I wasn’t a fan on the house pizza sauce and the pricing system for the make you own pizza. They charged you for every item Separately which seemed confusing for no reason. Essentially you pay $15 for the crust and sauce and everything else cost $2.50 per item. The family all got our waters in highball glasses which was funny and at the end of the meal we got a small single scoop of gelato which was nice…exempt it cost $6 for the small scoop and we were only provided the tiny plastic tester spoons to eat our ice cream and not provided anything stiffer or bigger to eat the gelato. I found that to be the biggest rip off to be honest.

I used a Groupon deal with my husband and went at a less busy time, 11:30 on a Wednesday. It was our first visit and were pleasantly surprised at the decor and menu offerings. The server was very friendly and answered my many inquiries with enthusiasm, especially about the impressive pizza oven that is gas heated, rotates and can cook a pizza in 4 minutes. Luckily for me,the Wednesday specials included half price chicken wings and $2 off of wine orders. I had the 10 piece wings (half salt and pepper, half honey garlic) and a glass of red wine. The server suggested the red house, which was excellent. The wings were the best I have ever had, tender and juicy. My husband had pasta, beef bolognese and raved about it. We had gelatos for dessert. I had mango and hubby strawberry. The gelato was to die for, even better than I have had in Italy. We will definitely come back!

I went out to this restaurant yesterday with a friend. Luckily, the place we were originally planning to go was closed so we got to enjoy the fantastic experience that is the PizzaSpot.

We tried 3 pizzas and an appetizer: Classic Margherita, Pesto Prawn, and Funghi for the pizzas and the marinated olives for the appy.

I was expecting the Pesto Prawn to be the best one, and when I tasted it it was exquisite. But the Funghi came out from behind and blew my socks off. Fantastic pizzas! The pricing is excellent for artisanal pizzas and the atmosphere is fantastic. Our server said she was new, and while it took her a moment to figure out where the buttons were on her order screen, she did a fantastic job as our server.

I also tried the Hazelnut Mocca coffee. I ordered the drink, and then noticed it was $7. I was taken aback, there is no way it's worth $7! But holy smokes, dear me, that was the best dang mocca I have ever tasted. 100% worth the prize. The roasted Hazelnut taste I can still taste in my mind today and I was sad when it was emptied.

All in all, I recommend this place. It is well worth a trip, even coming from the East side of...

I was disappointed the last time I went to The Pizza Spot. I had gotten the walnut salad and soup and when the waiter asked how my meal was I mentioned I wasn’t a fan of the salad and he didn’t say anything or offer another salad and I never ate it. Then I ordered the noodles kids meal for my 3 year old and he asked for a bit more noodles so I asked if we could have some more noodles and he brought out noodles, sauce and bread which ok, I only wanted noodles since we already had a bowl of sauce and half a bread left. When we got the bill I was charged for two kids meals ($22) and I just mentioned that I really only wanted noodles and not a second kids meal and the waiter just said while we brought out bread and more sauce. I said well, I just asked for noodles but if I’m paying for a whole kids meal do I get an extra drink and ice cream? And the waiter didn’t say anything and it was awkward. So my 3 year old got a $22 meal for lunch and I paid $13 for a bowl of soup. Super...
