Such a sweet stop in Bowmanville!!!

The staff was super friendly, and the menu had some fun, unique drinks made with fresh ingredients. We absolutely loved: • Orange Honey Dream Latte 🍊🍯 • Bowmanville Berry Latte 🫐

Both were refreshing and had just the right fruity notes, perfect for summer. If you’re more of a traditionalist, their classic lattes and espresso drinks are also solid! Our only small suggestion would be to make the cold foam a bit thicker so it holds more flavour. Overall kind of pricey too but with everything being local we understood it. They also give you metal straws which is amazing

We also snagged: • Their last vegan s’mores cookie (so good!) • Two focaccia breads • A jar of strawberry jam 🍓 Everything we tried was delicious, and the selection of baked goods was super tempting

After seeing Roam Coffee & Nest Treats all over Instagram for the last several months, I couldn't help but stop in on my little "me day" enjoying Downtown Bowmanville. My experience started with a very warm welcome! The ladies behind the counter were super friendly. I asked them what their "go-to" cold coffee is, and I ended up trying their house made Coconut Caramel Cold Brew (highly recommend). I also walked away with a box full of Nest Treats. You could see and feel the excitement and energy from behind the counter. I love supporting small/local and female owned businesses, and with Roam, you can feel how excited they are that you're giving them a try! I'll be back with some friends in the near future. We have frequented Roam since opening. We love the baked goods offered by Nest - never a miss for us! Our drinks are usually pretty good and they always have something new to try. If you’re looking for something moderately priced, this isn’t it. It’s definitely a treat day for us. The only downfall I find now is that the staff can be a bit standoffish and more caught up in their own interactions than interacting with their customers. When Roam first opened, their baristas were kind and personable! Now when we go, we usually leave feeling like we were a bother to the barista, or come and go without even a single glance or smile from them....
