Overall a pretty bad experience. It took a long time to have our order taken, and the receive the food. There were maybe three other tables? Even while waiting to ask for the bill, we saw the only waitress working sitting down at a table to talk to people for a few minutes and then watched someone from the kitchen come out, on his phone, and talk to the waitress for a few minutes.

The food itself was terrible. One of us got a beef dip, and the meat was tough and not the greatest. I ordered a chicken burger, asking for no tomatoes and no mayo. I got the chicken, with lettuce and mustard. When I made a comment about the mustard the waitress only said “did you ask for no mustard”. I (stupidly) assumed I made a mistake reading the toppings and attempted to take as much mustard as I could off, but the sandwich tasted of mustard. Before we left I rechecked the menu and it made no mention of mustard, and I should have gotten pickles. I pointed this out the waitress and she kind of just went “oh”, told someone in the kitchen and didn’t even apologize. So not only did the waitress not know what was on the food, but the kitchen clearly didn’t know either.

I figured I would let the restaurant know about the experience through their website, but it wouldn’t send the message.

We came in, there were 2-3 other tables. We ordered, took 45 min for my beer to be brought out. 2.5 hours for food. In all that time they didn’t even refill the water. When my poutine came, it was cold. They microwaved it and brought it back. Nothing is better that microwaved fries…. It was a terrible experience, I cannot recommend this place…

edit this is not a fake account, this was the first review I’ve made as the experience was that bad. I typically comment on FB pages but after reading how this owner treated a previous post, I’d assumed that would just be deleted. I went there after my nephews grad with my family. After 3 hours my mother still didn’t get her food. Albeit we were not charged for our meal, we still had to go back after 10pm and start cooking our own meal. Now the owner immediately attacks individuals that leave reviews that they do not like, rather than discussing the post with staff to determine if there is an issue and attempt to address it to prevent it from happening again. Went there for the first time ever today. We decided to try breakfast (Sunday is the only day they open for breakfast in the winter). Not too busy, lots of space. Giant TV screen playing a hockey game. I had an omelet and my wife had the day special benny. Coffee and tea. So the food was absolutely perfect. The square hashbrowns pieces looked nothing special but both of us remarked at how they were at the same time both crunchy yet soft and light. So good! The server came and asked if I would like hollandaise sauce (free) on my omelet. I had not done that before but heck, why not? It was awesome! I cannot tell you how many times our friendly server came over to make sure everything was going well but it was 2x more than I would ever have expected and we were both appreciative of the service and care.
