But I have high expectations for these little places, for cleanliness and a fresh, thoughtful menu. I expect a limited menu as these small places cannot keep a large variety of food fresh. So we stopped for sandwiches and something sweet. It is not the cleanest place, the hallway was cluttered and dirty heading to the bathroom, and the bathroom has been unattended. We did not care for the sandwiches offered that day, ( just personal choice, they seemed like nice options )menu so we got something sweet. The banana bread was very stale and should never have been sold; and I threw it out. Too late to take it back as we were eating on the road. The date square was okay.
