Very disappointed with this location. Considering that Collingwood is pretty high end, the service here was terrible and the conditions were unsanitary, especially compared to the Wendy's down the street.
Firstly, when I ordered dine-in on May 26th, they didn't offer to deliver it to my table like they did the last time I was here.
Secondly, when I recieved my order, there was no paper tray liner. My fries and my soft drink cup, which was upside down, was touching the dirty tray.
There was only two napkins in the centre of the tray, and my fries were overlapping the napkins, while the rim of my cup had no napkin under it.
When I asked one of the young Managers behind the counter why there was no paper tray liner, he stated that they ran out of them, but insisted the trays were clean.
Thirdly, a staff member was sweeping the floor near our table during a very busy lunch hour on Sunday, stirring up dust everywhere.
I told one of the Managers, an older gentleman with glasses, that one of the staff was sweeping the floor and stirring up dust everywhere where people were eating.
I indicated that it was a health and safety concern and he stated he would speak with her about it immediately, but did not do that and continued to empty the garbage receptacle and then disappeared.
I watched the staff member continue to sweep the rest of the Restaurant without reprimand.
In other words, the Manager did nothing about my concerns, while my family and I, as well as disturbed patrons, uncomfortably finished our meals.
I hope this review will compel upper management to think about health and safety, rather than ignore a customer's concerns. A very disappointing...
Read moreWe have been to this location a few times and found it to be satisfactory, with a nice interior and a front outdoor patio. The most recent time we ordered two double big Mac meal with large fries, and root beer. We got our tray and I went to get ketchup, napkins, and fill the drinks. The two ketchup dispensers were empty and the two napkins dispensers as well. I went back up to the counter to get both the missing items, informing a them of the empty state of their dispensers. When we opened the burger boxes, it looked like the had been assembled by a raccoon who had shaken them. Sauce down one side of the burger with more cut lettuce out of the burger than under the bun. The fries seemed undercooked (I thought they were on timer.) It might have been due to how many orders they were pushing out to the drive through, the cooking oil not getting a chance to heat up fully with all the frozen fried being ordered. If the meal had been under $10, I might expect poor food quality....but at $15 per meal, I expect my sauce on the inside of the bun. As well, by the time we had finished eating and were ready to leave the dispensers for ketchup and napkins has still not...
Read moreDec10 I was brought to Collingwood due to a family emergency. We decided to get some food after a long wait at the hospital. Unsure of where to go, but not wanting to get too far from the hospital, and driving through an unfamiliar, yet very beautiful town, we found the familiar arches. We got a big Mac meal and a fillet of fish meal. They forgot our straws. We were eating in the dark back at the hospital and I thought the ketchup was bad. It turned out it was a different brand, but I'm still unsure if it was bad or supposed to taste that way. The fillet of fish and the bun were oddly chewy, and after taking multiple bites wondering where the sauce was, I opened it to see two dots. The pictures actually look like there was more than there was. The majority was just a thin smear. The Big Mac apparently tasted weird with a chewy bun, too. The pickle and majority of the lettuce was outside the bun and had to be put on it. The fries were good though half full. We wish we got Pizza instead or that the lovely looking dinner at the corner by the...
