Mariner Brewing Company — Restaurant in Coquitlam

Friend of mine EX Hockey Teammate of mine was in town and we decided to get together and meet at the Mariner Brewing Company.

It's been awhile since I've been in to the Brewery, but just like the last time it was awesome. We sat outside on a nice day to tell lies and share stories of days gone by.

I had a flight to start then really enjoyed the Mango Ale and Pint it was lol. We decided to order some Wings ( Outstanding by the way ) I had the Mango Habanero ones ( actually not as Hot as you would think ) but they were outstanding. Actually they paired up nicely with my Mango Ale. Friend of mine had the regular Hot Wing's and really enjoyed them.

While we were sitting outside we kept noticing all the amazing looking food coming from the food truck. Everything looked amazing, with great presentation as well.

So seeing all of the amazing food coming out definitely piqued my interest. So on Tuesday I brought my Mom in for Lunch. And we were so glad that we did. We both had the Smash Burgers with Bacon and Cheese added. And Holy 💩 they were simply outstanding 🤤😋👍👍

From what we were seeing all the food looked spectacular with great presentation as well.

2022 update: This is my favourite drop in spot to meet and have a beer. Self-service is gone, however the servers check in just often enough to garner timely refills.

The beer? Well, depends on what you want, I am not a big fan of sour, but love the summer beers and some of the exploratory beers have been a pleasant surprise. The standby Orion lager is my standard brew..

Happy Birthday, Mariner Brewing The owners had a great selection of Exploratory beers Lemon Saison, Blackberry IPA and Blood Orange Ale springing to mind. Went there on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. My buddy got hooked on the Blueberry Ale and I tried a variety or different brews. The place was PACKED, which is not quite normal and the staff were a little overwhelmed. This was made worse by a cashier who was incredibly slow. But the rest of the staff picked up and took orders while we waited for the cashier and also pulled out a phone-based reader. The place was in great spirits literally and figuratively. A great experience.

BIL and SIL to us here for the first time in a Friday night. Crowded and good vibes. Waitress was really sweet and gave some recommendations. Once we placed our order we grabbed some games and passed the time until our orders came. After having some trouble with our orders, we were told this brewery just started doing food recently. The food was being made on the food truck outside and being brought in. We ordered the Mexican Street Corn Nachos and asked for it with chorizo. We also ordered Wings, which were supposed to come with 8pcs. And lastly a couple of burgers- 2 Single-Smash Burgers and Nashville Hot Chicken Burger. Both appetizers had a mistake and one burger. It was getting kind of irritating with all the mistakes and the lack of availability of the staff. They were busy so I understand, but mistake after mistake was a let down. I’m sure they will get better, so we would definitely come again to give them a try. They took off the wings due to them only having 6...
